TwistLock a basic electric solenoid motor, for operating (in the main) turnouts.

It is powered by a normal 16vDC supply (and can take up to 3 amps) and is fully compatible with all PECO turnouts up to O gauge (and can handle many other proprietary brands too). But no longer will any soldering of wires to the terminals be necessary, nor the cutting of large holes in the baseboard.

Each motor is supplied with a template, which the modeller uses to accurately mark the position of three holes that need to be drilled. The two outer holes are used to attach mounting studs beneath the baseboard. The larger centre hole is where the drive pin of the motor is positioned and threaded through the tie bar of the turnout. The motor is then simply twisted, and locked, into position and will remain firmly attached when operated. An extra operating bar, and spacers for the studs is included with every motor, enabling the above-board mounting of the motor where needed.

The PL series of Turnout Motors is tried and tested, over the last 40 years we have sold literally millions of these motors. Simple, reliable and good value. An extended drive pin is fitted, use the PL-9 Mounting Plate to attach this unit to the underside of the baseboard. Attaching PL-13 and 15 Switches will enable switching for automatic polarity etc.

Provides a base to mount Point Motor R8014 above the baseboard, with a model trackside hut to conceal it. Comes with variable extension arm that allows you to position the motor at different distances from the track on either side of the point. The base of the housing may also be used to mount the motor under the baseboard.

Peco PL1001 TwistLock Turnout Motor + Microswitch

Peco Point Motor

This is an automatic driving unit for Tomix N gauge.

Features

• Automatic driving device compatible with TCS power supply and Next Neo
• Smooth acceleration and deceleration when stopping and starting
• A separate power unit compatible with TCS power supply is required
• Output is 1A. Constant lighting function is not installed
• No modification of the running vehicle is required, but plastic wheels are not supported
• Stopping time can be changed. (From about 1 second to about 60 seconds)
• Acceleration and deceleration rate can be changed.
• Points can also be automatically switched depending on the mode.
• Equipped with a sleep mode that automatically turns off the power when approximately 2 hours have passed since operation started or when the sensor has not detected anything for approximately 10 minutes or more.

The point motor is designed to allow for the convenient electrical operation of points. The point motor also has a 5 pole skew wound and measures at 38mm in length.

Standard Wall Plug Mains Transformer- AUS only. Replacement transformer suitable for: R7292 - App Based Analogue Control; R7293 - App Based Accessory Control. 15V - 1.0A.

As an alternative to our R8250 Controller, the Analogue Train and Accessory Controller features an improved, heavier casing, as well as an additional uncontrolled DC output with integral capacitor discharge unit (CDU) to support solenoid point motors. The Auxiliary output can also be used to power lighting on the layout up to a current of 150mA. A recessed reduction switch also limits the output to reduce loco speed.This item does not include a transformer. However, the required P9000 Transformer can be purchased separately.
