Warhammer Age of Sigmar Skaventide Box
The peal of brass bells portends the explosive arrival of the Vermindoom. Blight City has burst into the Realm of Fire, and the Hour or Ruin is upon us. The new edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar is nearly here, and it’s arriving with a huge launch box: Skaventide.
The Skaventide is sweeping across the Mortal Realms – and the faithful Stormcast Eternals of the Hallowed Knights are first into the fray. This gigantic box is the biggest Warhammer Age of Sigmar launch set yet, and it’s packed to the brim with books and miniatures.
The box is divided into two sides coming in at 1,200 points. There are 24 Stormcast Eternals, reforged warriors and grizzled veterans of a thousand conflicts, and 50 Skaven, swarming horrors who fight with overwhelming numbers, foul magics, and madcap technology.
The Stormcast Eternals
Created by Sigmar himself to reclaim the Mortal Realms from the forces of Chaos, each Stormcast Eternal is a heroic soul snatched from the God of Death and Reforged into an immortal warrior upon the Anvil of Apotheosis. Sigmar’s lie was that this immortality would not have consequences – it is as much a curse as a boon, for each fresh death and Reforging hammers out more flaws, it also whittles away a little more of their soul. The Skaven threat is so dire, however, that Sigmar has been forced to throw open the Ruination Chamber and press back into service those warriors on the brink of losing themselves completely. All are willing to fight, as the hour is simply too dire.
Lord-Vigilant on Gryph-stalker
Lord-Vigilants are the commanders of the Bleak Citadels, those quiet monasteries that house the Stormcast Eternals in the retirement of the Ruination Chamber. They ride on corvine Gryph-stalkers, wielding hallowed greataxes and marshalling their allies with grim resolve.
Lord-Terminos
There is one release from the curse of immortality – the oblivion offered by the Lord-Terminos. In this hour of need, these warriors will range the battlefield and take Skaven heads with their mighty Blade Terminos.
Lord-Veritant
With a hatred of Chaos that eclipses all else, the Lord-Veritant is an expert in excising corruption from the Mortal Realms. Aided by their Gryph-crow companions they hunt down powerful wizards and heretical priests.
Knight-Questor
Unburdened by the pressures of command, a Knight-Questor is an errant hero tasked by Sigmar to perform a significant duty, be that retrieving a lost heirloom or slaying an enemy warlord. Whatever their task, few can stand between them and their ultimate goal.
Reclusians
With only a handful of Reforgings left before they lose themselves entirely, Reclusians are deployed only in the most desperate of times. Unwavering and unnervingly quiet, they stride forward as sorceries and corruption wash over them – such foul energies fail to find purchase on their eroded souls. They are accompanied by Memorians, mortal companions who preserve their deeds and memories.
Prosecutors
Prosecutors descend into battle on burning wings, hurling crackling javelins at their foes. Veterans of countless conflicts since the dawn of the Age of Sigmar, and oft-exposed to the perils of the Cursed Skies, these fearsome angelic warriors are included among the ranks of the Ruination Chamber.
Liberators
The mainstay of any Stormcast Eternals army is an obdurate backbone of Warrior Chamber troops such as the hardy Liberators. Armed with shields and hammers, they are deployed to hold the line and counterattack with crushing blows.
The Skaven
The Skaven are treacherous ratmen congenitally willing to stab even their closest ally in the back if it would bring them one claw closer to power. Nevertheless, after an audacious series of cunning rituals, the Skaven have managed to crash the nightmarish sub-dimension of Blight City into the Mortal Realms, and are now pouring forth in never-before seen numbers as the Great Horned Rat takes his rightful place among the Chaos pantheon.

Warhammer Age of Sigmar Battletome Maggotkin of Nurgle 2021
Everything comes in cycles for the followers of Nurgle, and inevitability is part and parcel of life. We know that you’ve been waiting for the release of Battletome Maggotkin of Nurgle, and your patience is set to be rewarded with Grandfather’s bountiful gifts this Saturday.
Deep in the Garden of Nurgle, Grandfather concocts deadly diseases for his daemonic spawn and mortal followers to spread. He’s been working for a long time on this latest batch, and his results will bring calamity to your opponents with a new rule that will see your foes afflicted with deleterious agues and buboes.
That’s right, even getting close to Maggotkin units triggers this. They’ve been learning from their kin in the 41st Millenium, and have amped up the foul smells, corrosive gasses, and swarms of biting insects.
Use this to promulgate a panoply of poxes to enemy units, making your opponent think twice about charging if they want to keep the contents of their stomachs. Unless infected units use healing magic or abilities, they won’t be able to shift this rot.
If you thought that was bad enough, you were wrong. The weapons of the Maggotkin make a mockery of good maintenance and hygiene. These corroded slabs of metal and suppurating Daemon claws all weep with foul blights that transfer maladies every time they score a critical blow.
This isn’t the only vector for Disease Points. Spells and abilities also help you drown your foes in plague-ridden effluence.
This is a major change from their previous Battletome, and perfectly encapsulates what it feels like to try and battle against these grimy guys, where fatal blows simply cause flesh to slough off without major effect, while filth, flies, and rot wash back over you in retaliation.
Battletome: Maggotkin of Nurgle is worming its way to pre-order this Saturday, but keep an eye on the Warhammer Community website as we reveal a few more details of this bilious book of blights.

Warhammer Age of Sigmar Nurgle Rotbringers Putrid Blightkings
Enormous, bloated warriors, festering with pustules and plague, the Putrid Blightkings are the favoured mortal servants of Nurgle. Blessed with the bite of the daemonfly, these rotting murderers lumber into battle with their tocsins tolling. Possessed of a shockingly deceptive speed, they wield scythes, mauls, axes and flails with a skill that belies their form.
This 105-piece plastic kit makes five Putrid Blightkings. Each model can be assembled in at least two distinct ways, with the option of building a Blightlord, Icon Bearer and a Sonorous Tocsin. You can ensure that each of your Blightkings looks totally unique by combining the 21 weapon arms with the 11 torsos and 17 head options.
Includes five Citadel 40mm Round bases.

Warhammer Age of Sigmar Nighthaunt Bladegheist Revenants
Moving like a ghostly cyclone, the creatures known as Bladegheist Revenants spin in a frenetic fashion. They are souls taken from those who met particularly tormenting ends – those sealed in spike-riddled encasements, choked beneath water or buried alive. Their last living thoughts were a frenzy of desperation, a last flurry of defiance in an attempt to break free. Thanks to Nagash’s terrible curse, that horrible ending moment has been preserved forever in the Bladegheist Revenants.
This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble 10 Bladegheist Revenants. Eternally tormented spirits, they are clad in tattered cloaks which fade away into ethereal elements, appropriate to the panicked, frantic fighting style they exemplify. Each is posed swooping and jinking unpredictably; the chains that bind them to Shyish are swinging wildly about their forms. Within the cloaks, metallic face masks peer out – there are 10 of these included, each a different design, which can be modelled on any cloak assembly you desire. There are 10 tomb greatblades included, each of which is slightly different.
This kit comes as 43 components, and is supplied with 10 32mm Round bases.
