Kaneda's badass bike from "Akira" is back for the first time in 11 years!

Bandai brings fans the ultimate reproduction of Kaneda's bike in 1/6 scale! The 50cm-long (over 19 1/2 inches) bike has a die-cast metal frame beneath its ABS exterior, and the front suspension is movable. The bike features light-up functions in its front and rear wheels, front lights, taillight, blinkers and center console panel. The front portion of the bike is movable and its front cowl will also be removable to reveal detailed mechanisms. Press on the accelerator pedal to play the sounds of the engine; pressing the brake will play a brake screech sound. Enjoy higher quality and clearer sound by connecting it to an external speaker!

The Pteranodon, the most iconic flying pterosaur, joins the "Plannosaurus" model-kit lineup from Bandai! This lineup encourages you to learn about dinosaurs by assembling them yourself from the skeleton out! Begin with the "skeletal build," assembling the creature's skeleton piece by piece; the "dinosaur build" then allows you to attach the outer skin parts to the skeleton. The Pteranodon's gigantic beak, which has a delicate skeleton covered with tough keratin, is three-dimensionalized based on the latest theory, including the structure of its mouth. The wing membrane realistically expresses the flow of muscular fibers on its surface, and the pterosaur-specific wing bones, which are said to have been used as elevators, are recreated using the latest construction. The special skeletal structure that allows the shoulder blades and torso vertebrae to form joints and create powerfully flapping wings has also been faithfully reproduced. You can even recreate the Pteranodon's distinctive "landing" position by selecting parts! It is possible to reproduce the wrinkles in the wing membrane when the wings are folded, and the state in which the feet are in contact with the heel on the ground. This kit builds into a detailed and accurate skeleton in a true-to-life pose, combining science with sculptural beauty. It's based on the latest research, including the irregularly arranged grater-like teeth common to herbivorous dinosaurs. The frill on the skull is delicately reproduced, including cracks caused by stress fractures and traces of blood vessels. The base includes plants for a realistic look, too.
