SMART CHARGING TECHNOLOGY

Battery recharging has never been easier. Just plug the included Spektrum 3S Smart LiPo battery into the Spektrum S120 USB-C Smart charger. Using Smart technology, the charger detects the correct cell count, charging amperage, and battery type. It then begins safe charging automatically. You won’t wait long — charging times typically take less than an hour.

WATER-COOLED ESC & MOTOR

The Pro Boat Recoil 2 18” comes with a Spektrum Firma 2950Kv brushless outrunner marine motor and Spektrum Firma 30A brushless marine ESC, both already installed. Water-cooled heatsinks keep temperatures down inside the enclosed deep-V hull, ensuring that the electronics will provide many hours of reliable operation.

BREAK AWAY RUDDER

Any RC boat is bound to have an accident eventually. When it happens, the rudder is usually the first part to bend or break. But the break away rudder of the Recoil 2 18” is designed to swing out if it strikes a solid object. That keeps it from breaking off of the hull and minimizes damage to the rudder itself. You don’t even need to replace screws. Just push the rudder back into place and tighten it up!

ADJUSTABLE METAL HARDWARE

SMART TECHNOLOGY

The Recoil 2 V2 includes a Spektrum Smart battery and charger. Recharging the battery is as simple as plugging the charger into any USB port and connecting the battery. You won't have to worry whether your voltage and amperage are set correctly.

100 Amp Spektrum™ Brushless ESC

This lightweight ESC is designed with self-righting in mind, allowing for quick forward and reverse changes to flip the boat over after a wipeout. It's programmed to work with the SLT3 transmitter's automatic self-righting button. With a single press, your Recoil 2 V2 will flip back upright. If you'd rather self-right using manual control, you can do that, too.

Spektrum™ 2300Kv Brushless Outrunner Marine Motor with Integrated Weight

The included brushless marine motor also features an integrated weight on the outrunner, eliminating the need for a weighted coupler to provide self-righting capabilities. That's one less piece of rotating mass inside of the boat.

High Impact ABS Molded Self-Righting Hull and Canopy

The ABS canopy attaches securely to the high-impact, self-righting hull using four thumb screws. An EVA foam seal around the canopy ensures that water is locked outside the hull.

Pro Boat 5.3kg Waterproof Servo

The high torque servo provides more than enough power to keep the Recoil 2 V2 pointed in the right direction. Waterproofing makes sure the servo is up to the task of being in a boat without the risking failure due to moisture.

Aluminum Offset Rudder and Propeller Strut

The aluminum rudder and propeller strut provide higher performance compared to composite or plastic. Hard anodizing ensures a long wear life.

Flex Shaft-Driven Propeller

Punch it off the line and Receiver goes to work sensing the boat’s direction and making steering corrections to provide straight-ahead full throttle acceleration without loss of control. Also works when turning, first making intuitive corrections to maintain the vehicle’s line, then hammer the throttle earlier in the turn for much faster exit speeds. UDIRC engineers developed superior tuning algorithms that run on high-speed, precision electronic components to create a system that works invisibly, in the background, without ever limiting throttle. Radio System

Switch on the power and go! That’s all there is to it with the UA13 2.4GHz radio system. There are no frequencies to manage, so the focus is on having fun. Modern Reinforced Hull

The boat clean, modern hull design is built up in layers for maximum rigidity where it matters most, the transom and ride pad. Hand-laid Fiberglass Composite Hull and Canopy

Laid in three layers of fiberglass and hardened with high-strength resin, the hull and canopy are built to last! The hull's stiffness allows it to be more predictable-it deforms far less than heat-molded hulls and can withstand speeds in which most heat-molded hulls would fold. Fiberglass constructed hulls are built for performance just like the real boats you see racing offshore.

Optimized Hull Design

The new hull design features redesigned, stepped ride pads like real 1:1 catamarans. These steps give the boat a smoother ride along the water and ultimately provide more precise steering responses. The hull's design merges the best features of Pro Boat models such as the Miss Geico and Blackjack 29. The canopy has four thumbscrews that secure the hatch in case of a crash.

Removable Injection-Molded Interior

Thanks to the interior's composite material, there's no need for an inner wood structure. To remove the interior, simply unbolt it for servicing.

Powerful 2000Kv 6-Pole Marine Motor

This powerful 36x56 mm motor features the same Kv as the motors of our other 29-inch boats, but offers more speed on less voltage when paired with the new stainless steel propeller included with the boat. You no longer need to run 6S power to get 6S speeds.

Adjustable Aluminum Propeller Strut

The adjustable aluminum propeller strut lets you completely tune your boat for optimal performance in changing water and wind conditions. The flat bottom on the propeller strut acts like a trim tab and makes adjustments much more precise. With the new propeller strut, even small adjustments go a long way.

Break-Away Rudder with Water Inlet

The Veles uses a break-away rudder to safeguard the rudder and transom from floating objects or in the event the boat runs on shore. The water inlet helps cool the electronics even at low speeds and increases flow with forward momentum.

Spektrum SLT3 2.4GHz Radio

The 3-channel SLT3 transmitter offers all you need for dependable, confident control. User-adjustable features include steering and throttle trims, steering rate, and throttle limits. The control layout is amazingly intuitive — all controls are perfectly positioned to be quickly accessible when needed and out of the way when not in use. The SLT3 transmitter's overall low weight lets you drive all day without fatigue. Its steering wheel is foam-covered for a no-slip grip. There's also a handy mount for attaching a lanyard, so you can focus on driving without worrying about dropping and damaging your radio.

Stability Management Receiver with Security

Makes it possible to experience all the extreme power, speed, and acceleration that was engineered into UDIRC models by making it much easier to control the boat in water conditions. Punch it off the line and Receiver goes to work sensing the boat’s direction and making steering corrections to provide straight-ahead full throttle acceleration without loss of control. Also works when turning, first making intuitive corrections to maintain the vehicle’s line, then hammer the throttle earlier in the turn for much faster exit speeds. UDIRC engineers developed superior tuning algorithms that run on high-speed, precision electronic components to create a system that works invisibly, in the background, without ever limiting throttle. Can be fine-tuned for different conditions by simply adjusting the multi-function knob on the transmitter.

Modern Reinforced Hull

The Tylosaurus’s clean, modern hull design is built up in layers for maximum rigidity where it matters most, the transom and ride pad. Lightweight yet incredibly strong, Tylosaurus’s ABS hull is designed to withstand the stress of high-voltage brushless horsepower, without the weight penalty of a fiberglass hull. The transom bulkhead also incorporates bosses for the trim tabs, turn fins, rudder support, and drive strut, eliminating the need for additional hardware inside the hull. In the Mosasaurus’s bow, can be installed with rubber bumpers, adding security as it further stiffens the hull.

High-Strength Aluminum Hardware

Extreme brushless horsepower demands rigid drive hardware and a flex-free transom for sharp and predicatable handling. The rudder, rudder support, dual trim tabs, turn fins and drive strut are extruded and machined from rugged aluminum alloy for maximum strength. They provide radical turning “bites” and proper hull stance to accommodate the speed of water boiling.
