On 1 March 2024, the first of 29 A220s ordered by Australia's Qantas from Airbus took off on its first commercial flight, unveiling a very special livery. Balarinji, a leading Australian design agency for Australia's Indigenous peoples, had designed the extraordinary fuselage designs of all previous aircraft in Qantas' Flying Art Series, working with First Nations artists and their families. The latest work on QantasLink's state-of-the-art Airbus A220 continues this special artistic partnership. Born in 1952 in the remote community of Kanpi in South Australia, Maringka Baker began painting to tell her ancestors' stories of travel, women's ceremonial business, family relationships and traditional land. She is recognised as one of Australia's most successful artists and is a source of inspiration for a new generation of First Nations artists. This livery tells the story of two sisters who cross Australia together, travelling great distances to find their way home. The aircraft is named after the artwork: Minyma Kutjara Tjukurpa - The Creation Story of the Two Sisters. Airbus A330-243 MRTT French Air Force

The Airbus A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) is a military aerial refueling aircraft based on the Airbus A330-200 commercial aircraft. It is capable of refueling military aircraft in flight, as well as transporting cargo. The A330 MRTT has a range of up to 7,000 nautical miles (13,000 km) and can refuel multiple aircraft simultaneously using its aerial refueling boom and hose and drogue refueling pods. The A330 MRTT also has a spacious cargo hold. The aircraft is equipped with the latest avionics and navigation systems, providing improved operational efficiency and reduced pilot workload. The A330 MRTT is considered one of the most capable military tanker aircraft on the market and has been widely adopted by air forces around the world. The A330 MRTT is known for its versatility, reliability, and long-range capabilities, and it is well-suited for a variety of military missions, including aerial refueling and transport

This model is one of NG’s new NG Lite series. As one of the first releases they have chosen Boeing’s ubiquitous 747 in it’s original prototype livery. The model uses the same tooling as standard NG models but is missing it’s aerials to allow for a lower priced model of the same quality.
