Meng SS-010 1/35 D9R Armoured Bulldozer with Slat Armor
Because of its special combat environment, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is equipped with many peculiar weapons and equipment, one of which is the D9R armored bulldozer with slat armor. The D9 bulldozers are originally designed for building, logging and mining purposes. The Ramta Division of the Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) developed an all-new armor suite, Daqhpor Memugan, for D9R bulldozers which were in the IDF service in a large number in October 2003. This armor suite can provide overall protection to D9Rs. From 2005, D9Rs have been added with the slat armor suite, which is effective in protecting them from RPG-7 attacks. Besides, weapons like machine guns and grenade launchers can be added on top of the cab for self-defense. MENG has now announced the SS-010 D9R Armored Bulldozer w/Slat Armor model kit which is a replica of the latest IDF D9R variant. This kit includes brand-new tooling workable track links and perfectly represented complex slat armor.

Tamiya 35357 1/35 German Assault Pioneer Team and Goliath Set
Small but Mighty
The Goliath was developed during WWII for German forces to use as a remote-controlled explosive device. Its initial Sd.Kfz.302 variant was a mere 160cm long, ran on two 12V battery-powered motors, and could bear 60kg of explosives; it was controlled and detonated via a reeled cable built in to the rear. Around 2,650 were produced between April 1942 and January 1944, the majority of which were deployed by assault pioneers. They were largely used for assaulting entrenched enemy positions and mine clearance.

Trumpeter 00219 1/35 German Panzerlok BR57 Armoured Locomotive
Germany had used armored trains in WWI, but prior to the start of WWII the armored train was seen as something of a relic by the German defense force, the Reichswehr, and its government renamed successor in 1935, the Wehrmact. The Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft (DRG), or German National Railway between 1920 and 1945, saw armored trains as a way to preserve and advance a military presence. By keeping a strong military face on this state owned railroad。The BR57 armored trains locomotive was actually based on the Prussian series G10 locomotive first built in 1910 and featuring an 0-10-0 wheel arrangement.
