Trumpeter 00921 1/16 German Pzkpfw IV Ausf J Medium Tank
The PanzerkampfwagenIV (Pz.Kpfw. IV) Sd Kfz 161, commonly known as the Panzer IV, was a medium tank developed inNazi Germany in the late 1930s and used extensively during the Second World War. Its ordnance inventory designation wasSd.Kfz.161.
Designed as an infantry-support tank, the Panzer IV was not originally intended to engage enemy armour—that function was performed by the lighter Panzer III. However, with the flaws of pre-war doctrine becoming apparent, and in the face of SovietT-34 tanks, the Panzer IV soon assumed the tank-fighting role of its increasingly obsolete cousin. The most widely manufactured and deployed German tank of the Second World War, the Panzer IV was used as the base for many other fighting vehicles, including the Sturmgeschutz IVtank destroyer, the Wirbelwindself-propelled anti-aircraft weapon, and the Brummbarself-propelled gun, amongst others.

Thunder Models 35211 1/35 British 7.2inch Howitzer
The BL 7,2 inch howitzer was a heavy artillery gun used by the British Army throughout World War II. From 1940 the World War I era BL 8-inch howitzers were re-lined to 7.2 inches (180 mm) and the old carriages were retained although the original steel rimmed wheels were replaced with new balloon tyre wheels. The new four charge ammunition increased the range to 16,900 yd (15,500 m), but when fired the recoil caused the weapon to rear violently and jump backwards. To help eliminate this, ramps were placed behind the wheels. The Scammell Pioneer Artillery Tractor R100 was usually used as a gun tractor for the 7,2-inch howitzer in the early war years
