The Jellybeans kite is a printed diamond shape that children love seeing in the sky!

It’s a very robust design and the bright colours in the pattern means it really stands out in flight. All children love to watch diamonds like this fly because they tend to move around a bit, they wiggle and dance as they fly, and your kids will love it too! The Jellybeans will fly in a pretty wide wind range from medium to fresh winds, this means that there are more days when it will fly.

Suitable for children aged 4 to 10, the Jellybeans kite is very stable in the sky. It’s great to watch as it wiggles and dances from side to side but it’s also very steady position in the wind. This is one of the two really important things you want a children’s kite to do.

The sail is made of rip stop sailcloth and the frame is very 4mm fiberglass. As a result of these really strong materials, you can expect your kite to be around for a long, long time.

Kite Type

Diamonds are Single String kites suited to kids of all ages that fly best in medium winds. All children , even young kids, will find our Diamonds really, really easy to fly. Just hold them to the wind and up they will go!

A very traditional design, diamond kites have been around for thousands of years. We’ve updated and modernized them a fair bit with great materials like ripstop nylon sailcloth and strong fibreglass frames but the joy and pleasure for kids flying them is still the same!

Diamond kites need slightly more wind then, say, delta designs but their shape, and the long tails we put on them, make them really stable in the sky as the wind picks up. Is one shape better then the other? No, not really…they are just ‘different’. Deltas are usually better in light to medium winds while Diamonds are better in medium to fresh winds.

All of our diamond kites are super simple to put together. Just slip 2 sticks (we call them rods or spars) across the back and you’re ready to fly.
