Brushwork Short Grip Long Point Brush 

Long, thin brush tip holds the paint well and is ideal for drawing detailed decorations and curves on parts. Long bristles hold the paint well without dripping, making the painting not blur easily. Its firmness makes it easy to draw curved lines. The extra fine tip is perfect for delicate work such as detailed decorations.

A series with a very short grip compared to standard Brushwork PRO. Short grip makes the center of gravity closer to your hand, making it less shaky and much easier to paint. Choose the way you want to hold the paintbrush by your sense and enjoy freely painting!

Each brush is hand-made by Japanese brush craftspersons who specialize in synthetic bristles.

Animal hair brushes tend to become damaged, torn, and dry when soaked in solvents, but Brushwork PRO’s PBT bristles are solvent-resistant and less prone to damage. The bond that holds the brush tip in place is also solvent-resistant, ensuring a long-lasting good brush tip. The brush tip is more flexible than general chemical fiber brushes due to the firmness adjusted for easy brush painting on models. An assorted range of brush tip shapes for use in different painting situations. Short brush tip has a lower water supply for the paint, causing the paint to dry quickly. This is why Brushwork PRO has designed the brush tip length to achieve ease of painting and paint absorbency. Thanks to the special processing PBT bristles, bent bristles become straight again with hot water at 90℃. Exclusive aluminum cap for storage.

How to fix a brush with bristles bent out

Remove any dirt from the brush before soaking it in hot water.

*Please be careful of burns when using hot water.

1. Fill a heat-resistant container with hot water at 90℃, and soak the bent brush tips for about 10 seconds.
2. Use the sides of the container to straighten out any bent bristles.
3. Pull the brush up along the side to keep it straight.
4. Check the bottom of the brush is straight and leave it to dry.

*For some bristles with a limited lifespan in use, it may not work.
*Note that if the water gets cold during the process, it may not work.

The paint brushes in the MTS-010 Modeling Paint Brush Set adapt high-quality wooden body and imported nylon bristles. The surface of brush body is matt black and the ferrule is made of copper with silver coating. These brushes can meet the needs of painting and weathering. Both acrylic paints and oil-based paints are applicable. The length of all brushes is 160 mm for easy painting and comfort. Each brush has its own separate plastic cap.
