About the Artist

The talented artist of our original “Cozy Retreat” puzzle, Steve Read is self-taught. Starting work as a mural designer, he became a freelance illustrator, working on high profile advertising campaigns and licensing for 20 years. Steve has developed a very broad portfolio of amazing work, ranging from beautiful fairytale and fantasy images to landscapes and gothic art. His captivating images can be found on a wide range of products worldwide.

About the Artist: From an early age, Nathanael Mortensen had a strong love of drawing. After studying graphic design at cm (27 x 19.5 inches) when completed. Southern Oregon University, he became a successful board game designer. Determined to illustrate his own games, he began to learn digital painting in 2015. Today, Nathanael uses a Wacom tablet to illustrate magical board games and puzzles for all to enjoy. Nathanael happily resides in Ashland, Oregon with his wife and family.
