Authentic Collectables ACD64F20CW 1/64 Shell V-Power Racing Team No.17 Ford Mustang GT Supercar 2020 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship Winner Scott McLaughlin Diecast Car

10.00 $

Authentic Collectables are very proud to present the 1:64 Scale Shell V-Power Racing Team Ford Mustang GT driven by Scott McLaughlin to win the 2020 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.

McLaughlin's 2020 championship win sealed a 'Three-Peat' of consecutive driver's championships for both him and the team in what is the 10th drivers championship for DJR/DJR Team Penske in the 40th Anniversary for the team.

In claiming such a historic milestone, McLaughlin became the 1st Ford driver to win three straight championships since Ian Geoghegan won four in a row from 1966-1969 and only the 4th driver in history to claim the feat, joining Mark Skaife, Jamie Whincup and Geoghegan in the record books.

This model will be based on the 2020 Bathurst 1000 livery where McLaughlin was officially crowned the champion.

Don’t miss McLaughlin’s Championship Winning Mustang in 1:64 scale which is scheduled to be produced by Authentic Collectables in high quality sealed body die-cast with clear windows, detailed interior and will be presented in box style packaging.

Authentic Collectables ACR18H18C 1/18 Penrite Racing #9 Holden ZB Commodore 2018 Bathurst 1000 Pole Position Reynolds/Youlden

96.00 $

After taking out the 2017 Supercheap Bathurst 1000 crown, Penrite Racing arrived back at Mount Panorama for their 2018 campaign and proved the previous year’s win was definitely no fluke.

Their Holden ZB Commodore, featuring a special gold chrome livery, was the fastest car all weekend with Reynolds setting a 2:04.0589 time during the Top 10 Shootout to start the race on pole with co-driver Luke Youlden.

Come race day, the point that they had the fastest car all weekend was rammed home by the fact that at the final driver change of the race they had led 71 of the first 94 laps. Unfortunately it was ultimately a case of what might have been with driver fatigue causing Reynolds to pit for safety reasons to hand over the car to Youlden to finish the final laps costing them track position and the race, eventually finishing in 13th place.

Despite the heartbreaking result, the fan favourite team again proved to everyone that they’re definitely no one trick pony at the Great Race and in Supercars in general.

Don’t miss this model in 1:18 scale which has been produced by Authentic Collectables as a sealed body with clear windows and detailed interior in a limited edition of 600 pieces with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

  • 1:18 Scale Penrite Racing #9 Holden ZB Commodore Supercar

Classic Carlectables 18703 1/18 Ford XA Falcon RPO83 Yellow Fire Coupe

116.00 $

Early in 1972 Ford released the XA GT Falcon in sedan and hardtop versions. It was the first Falcon to be totally designed by Australians, as production of the Falcon in the US had ceased some 18 months earlier. The XA was the biggest Falcon yet, with the boldest styling, designed for wider appeal with its less aggressive look and creature comforts.
Ford built 891 hardtops between July 1972 and September 1973, including the construction of 129 RPO83 coupes. The GT Specials - that’s their official title - were Regular Production Option 83 on Ford’s options list for Falcon GTs.
The biggest change on the RPO83 to the normal GT was the fitting of a huge 780cfm (cubic feet per minute) four barrel Holley carburettor and (hidden away under the V-banks) fabricated exhaust extractors. These added 30-40bhp to the existing 300bhp for much improved performance. Other changes included a modified sump with additional baffles and a manual choke. They used most of the bolt-on engine components intended for the Phase IV GT-HO - the “Supercar” killed by political and public pressure before it went into production in 1972. The new model could run the quarter in the high 14s and had a top speed of around 140mph (225kph).

Features

  • The comprehensive front end features engraved headlights and indicators, as well as the finely moulded front grille with GT badge.
  • Argent painted steel 12 slot rims with GT centres are an outstanding feature on this model with their chrome trim rings together with the red wall tyres.
  • Interior includes XA sports steering wheel, full dash instrumentation and components.
  • Fully-reclining high-backed bucket seats with fabric seat belts and individual buckles for that realistic appearance.
  • The heart of the beast is the 5.8L V8. Sitting on top is the air cleaner with high performance sticker. The bonnet hinges are etched metal for realism and smooth operation.
  • The boot interior looks just like the original, with rubber floor mat, filler pipe, boot hinging plates and jack instruction decal on the inside of the boot lid.
  • Superb chassis detail with working front suspension and steering. The springs, sway-bar, wheel rims and brake discs feature nicely.
  • The working leaf spring rear suspension is well engineered and operates smoothly. The suspension bolts and finned rear brake drums are well detailed.
  • Item includes certificate with individual production number.
