Part of the innovative new HM7000 range, this Next18-pin Bluetooth® and DCC decoder is perfect for getting smaller locomotives working on the HM7000 system. The 18 pin socket is typically fitted to HO and OO scale locomotives.

The decoder is designed to supply 1000mA continuous load to the main motor and a peak demand of 1500mA. Making it highly suitable for many HO and OO locomotives.

An R7377 Power Bank can be purchased separately and added to this decoder. We recommend for ease you do this during the first install. The Power Bank will keep the loco operating during short power outages when running over dirty track or complex points - keeping the locomotive operative and the loco moving.

DCC Status: Next 18 Socket (NEM 662)

EB1 single output electronic circuit breaker provides short circuit protection for one DCC power district. Works with most all DCC systems including NCE, Digitrax, etc. Not for use with the Power Cab DCC system or any non-DCC systems.

Features

The Auxiliary Input Unit (AIU) provides a means of connecting external devices such as switch contacts, Block Detectors (BD20), or other sensors to the NCE Cab Bus or Command Station. These external devices can be anything that supplies an electrical connection between the input pins (1-14) and the pins marked "GND" Connects to the NCE cab bus using RJ12 6 wire jack.

The SB5 and Power Cab have built in over current sensing for basic self-protection that will continuously try to reset until destroyed if left uncorrected. They do not have manual breakers that will trip or fuses that will blow.
