Roden 812 1/35 Holt 75 Artillery Tractor

35.00 $
Holt 75 Artillery tractor

The Holt 75 was a heavy artillery tractor, produced in the early 20th Century by inventor Benjamin Holt in the United States. At first it was used exclusively for agricultural needs, but with the outbreak of the First World War it was brought into military service as a mover of heavy artillery pieces that could not be hauled by the physically limited horse-drawn harness. In addition to Great Britain, these machines were also used by France and the United States. A total of 2,000 tractors of this type took part in the First World War. They became the forerunner of a major new element in the mechanized army - the artillery tractor, since used with great success up to the current day.

Modelcollect 35032 1/35 E-50 Ausf.B 10.5cm KwK L/52  Panther III

9.00 $

The E-50 Standardpanzer was an experimental German WWII Main Battle Tank that never entered mass production. It was probably armed with a 88mm KwK 43 L / 71 gun and 1 or 2 machine guns. MG34 or MG42 cal. 7.92 mm.

Design work on the E-50 tank was initiated in as part of the Entwicklungsserie program, i.e. a program for the development of German armor, which was to lead to the creation of a standardized design for a series of six combat vehicles of different weights, but using as many common components as possible. Analytical and conceptual work under this program was initiated in mid-1943. The E-50 tank in this project was to be the main tank of the German army, fulfilling a universal role on the battlefield, i.e. having the mobility of a medium tank, but the firepower of a heavy tank. The hull and chassis of the E-50 were to be largely based on that used in the Pz.Kpfw. VI Tiger II, while the turret was to come from another experimental tank - the Panther Ausf. F - the so-called Schmallturm. Ultimately, the E-50 was to replace the Pz.Kpfw V Panther and the Pz.Kpfw VI Tiger tanks in the line.

Trumpeter 07154 1/72 Soviet T-10M Heavy Tank

8.00 $

The T-10, also known as Object 730 or IS-8, was a Soviet heavy tank of the Cold War, the final development of the IS tank series.

During development, it was called IS-8 and IS-9. It was accepted into production in 1952 as the IS-10 (Iosif Stalin, Russian form of Joseph Stalin), but due to the political climate in the wake of Stalin's death in 1953, it was renamed T-10.

he biggest differences from its direct ancestor, the IS-3, were a longer hull, seven pairs of road wheels instead of six, a larger turret mounting a new gun with fume extractor, an improved diesel engine, and increased armour. General performance was similar, although the T-10 could carry more ammunition.

T-10s (like the IS tanks they replaced) were deployed in independent tank regiments belonging to armies, and independent tank battalions belonging to divisions. These independent tank units could be attached to mechanized units, to support infantry operations and perform breakthroughs.
