These acrylic paints can be used with both brush and airbrush. These paints are water soluble which prevents odors and the need for aggressive thinners. High quality paint for Brushes and Airbrush. 17ml bottle. The Air series paint is designed to be effective for airbrush and brush, and is water- soluble, avoiding strong smells and harmful solvents. Formula ultra-resistant and satin. Nontoxic. It can be easily thinned with our specific acrylic thinner or water if necessary. We recommend AK-712 Acrylic Thinner for thinning. There’s no need to dilute the paints when you decide to use your airbrush. When applied by brush they also have a greater degree of coverage. Use alone or mix with other acrylic paints to obtain a different color. Shake before each use. Dries completely in 24 hours.

Aqueous Hobby Color is a paint line newly reformulated in 2020 and aimed to be a safer paint with a higher degree of user friendliness.

Aqueous Hobby Color paint is water based, which means you will never run out of thinner/reducer – you can use regular water. Tool cleanup is also easier as you can use water.

Aqueous Hobby Color paint does contain a mild solvent in it which helps a lot with the adhesion.

Leveling capabilities of this paint are high, it provides a glossy finish with a light texture, creating an excellent paint finish.

Gloss levels of the Aqueous paint can be adjusted using additives

• H-40 Flat Base can be mixed with any color and make the paint semi-gloss or even matte/flat. Mix ratio between 5% and 10% is recommended.
• Mr. Aqueous Hobby Colors are ready for a regular brush application. They are also airbrush friendly; however, it is recommended to reduce it before use with an airbrush. As we mentioned earlier, regular water can be used as a reducer, but for the best result we recommend using Mr. Aqueous Hobby Color Thinner (T-110 or T-111).
• Up to 150% of the reducer can be added to Aqueous paint for airbrush use.
• When spraying paints with an airbrush, 2-3 coats are recommended.
  For regular brush use 1-2 coats is enough.
• If painting a light color over a darker base surface, more layers of paint may be required.

The Clear series of colors is specially designed to make the paint transparent while maintaining the other qualities of the 3GEN acrylic range. This feature makes it especially useful when tinting the translucent parts of our models such as windows, headlights, aircraft canopies, optics, etc.. In this way we can modify the color of these objects while still maintaining their transparency. They can also be used to modify the color of metallic parts or to make glazes to vary the tone of already painted elements. It is a product of universal compatibility, being able to be applied on any type of paint without reacting or damaging the finish of the area where we use it.
