Mr Color hobby paint is a paint that has long been regarded highly by modelers world wide as a model paint that delivers an outstanding finish. There are a large number of colours and colour types available, which are suitable for painting almost all models. Generally, Mr Color provides a wider range of paint colours and finishes than Aqueous Hobby Color, and will dry to a smoother and harder finish.

When applying Mr Color paint, 1 to 2 coats are recommended when using paint brushes, and 2 to 3 coats if using an airbrush to spray paint.

If airbrushing Mr Color paint, it should be thinned after diluting to a ratio of between 1 (Mr Color) and 1 to 2 Thinner, depending on the degree of paint viscosity required.

Gloss levels obtained using gloss coat Mr Color hobby paints can be adjusted by using Flat Base - mix approximately 5 to 10% of C-30 Flat Base to convert gloss colors to a semi gloss finish, or 10 to 20% for a matt finish. The percentage of Flat Base used can be adjusted to vary the amount of gloss level obtained.

Dual Exo is a simplified color system and a paint range designed for sci-fi vehicles, gundams, mecha, robots etc.

It is technically developed through an ultra-resistant aqueous acrylic copolymer to paint with maximum covering power and resistance.

It is a self-leveling acrylic paint with a satin finish that facilitates weathering processes once the base coat has been applied.

Its high-quality additives provide us with a multi-adherent capacity never seen before, as well as high durability.

Its low viscosity makes it ideal for use with an airbrush, although it can also be used with a brush.

This set contains the colors for the application of the well know British Caunter Camouflage scheme on AFV vehicles, as well as other equipment included in this new ordinance for disruptive camouflage. The colors have been developed especially, following the historical references given in thebook by M. Starmer. Also included are the references Purple Light Brown and Light Stone used for the two-tone camouflage scheme.

Tamiya Color Acrylic Paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are excellent for either brush or spray painting. These paints can be used on styrol resins, styrofoam, wood, plus all of the common model plastics. The paint covers well, flows smoothly with no blushing or fading, and can be blended easily. These Tamiya Color Acrylic Paint products contain 23ml of paint. It is recommended to use Tamiya acrylic thinners for thinning paints for use with an airbrush.

Tamiya Colour bottled Lacquer Paints are highly versatile - whether using them to airbrush large areas, or pick out fine details with a brush, their stunning, consistent tones add superlative realism to your model. Finished tough membrane suits ideally to use as a base coat, resistant to enamel paints, while swift drying times ensure an efficient painting process. We recommend using Tamiya's Lacquer thinner with this paint type.

Painting light colors onto dark plastic always poses the risk of a compromised topcoat tone. This spray paint shade of Base White, which is a particularly solid shade of white, is specifically for use as an undercoat. With minimal layers it provides a superb base, even on dark plastic, ensuring true and clear topcoat tones.

NOTE: TAMIYA TS paint is not designed to be used with clear Polycarbonate/LEXAN R/C body shells. The paint will flake off. For Polycarbonate applications please use Tamiya PS spray paint.
