Authentic Collectables ACD43H18K 1/43 Erebus Penrite Racing No.9 Holden ZB Commodore Supercar 2018 Rabble Club Sandown 500 Retro Round David Reynolds/Luke Youlden

21.00 $

Authentic Collectables are pleased to present the 1:43 Scale Erebus Penrite Racing Holden ZB Commodore driven by David Reynolds and Luke Youlden at the 2018 Rabble.Club Sandown 500 Retro Round.

Featuring an amazing retro themed livery paying homage to the vintage Chickadee colours of the Holden VK Commodore that Graeme Bailey and Allan Grice drove to win a surprise victory at the 1986 Bathurst 1000, this car simply looked fantastic and is a perfect example of a retro livery done right.

As part of the launch for this car and the #99 team mate car of DePasquale/Brown which payed tribute to his Toyota Celica in another retro livery, Graeme Bailey was on hand and described the liveries as an honour.

“It’s an honour to see the recognition and I feel proud to be involved,” said Bailey.

“They look the goods, obviously I am very familiar with the cars but they’re instantly recognisable.

“The Celica days for me was a more family affair, but obviously the Commodore was the big achievement.

“It gave everyone something to talk about, it was a very good feeling to beat them.”

The Penrite ZB Commodore looked magnificent and it performed pretty well on race day too - albeit not quite to the lofty standards as the 1986 car, ultimately finishing in 5th place for the race.

Don’t miss this Commodore Supercar in 1:43 scale which has been produced by Authentic Collectables in high quality sealed body die-cast with clear windows, detailed interior and will be presented in a clear display case with a stamped base and an individually numbered backing board which certifies the edition number of the model.

41.00 $

At the 2024 Penrite Oil Sandown 500, James Golding achieved a significant milestone for both himself and PremiAir Nulon Racing, driving the #31 Chevrolet Camaro.

In an outstanding performance alongside co-driver David Russell, Golding secured his first-ever podium in the Supercars Championship, finishing 3rd in the iconic endurance race. This milestone marked not only a pivotal achievement for Golding but also represented the team’s inaugural podium finish in the championship since their debut in 2022.

The podium finish came with the debut of an eye-catching new livery for the PremiAir Camaro, shifting from their usual black and red scheme to a striking inverted white and red design. This fresh look featured a gradient transition from red to black, accentuated by PremiAir arrows, making a bold statement at the Sandown 500 — a look set to continue for the remainder of the season.

With this stunning new livery and the landmark podium finish, this model is bound to become a prized collectible for fans of both the driver and the team.

Authentic Collectables 1/18 Holden VE Commodore SS V Morpheus

125.00 $

Dubbed the ‘Billion Dollar Baby’ when it was first launched in 2006, the Holden VE Commodore was an executive car that arguably represented Holden in Australia at the absolute peak of its powers.

Development on the new Commodore began in 1999 and over the course of 7 years of design, engineering and testing, over 1 billion Australian Dollars was spent to make it the largest and most expensive Holden ever developed.

Couple that expenditure with the 3.4 million kilometres of testing carried out on the project, the new VE was an Australian designed and developed model that would not only replace the popular outgoing VZ Commodore series for the brand, but go on to win world-wide acclaim and sell over half a million units in its various forms both domestically and internationally during a lifespan ranging from 2006 to 2013.

The VE was not only a winner on the road but on the track too. The foundations of the VE helped Holden motorsport claim 103 V8 Supercar race wins, including multiple Bathurst 1000 victories and series championships to have the model sitting in 2nd place on the all time winning model list behind its eventual VF Commodore replacement.

This is a car that was not only beautifully designed, but commands a tremendous amount of respect and will in time, likely be viewed as an iconic piece of Australian motoring history, especially now the Holden brand has sadly been retired.

Authentic Collectables are very proud to present the high end sports variant of the VE Commodore, the SS V-Series in the much requested Morpheus colour scheme in model form for the first time.

Our previous releases of this model in varying colour schemes have been highly regarded by collectors and we expect this next release in the range to be no different.

The Morpheus edition has been produced in 1:18 scale die-cast with fully opening parts and high detail in an exclusive limited edition with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
