Authentic Collectables ACR18F21P 1/18 Ford Performance Ford Mustang GT S550 Prototype Gen3 Supercar 2021 Stealth Testing Livery

104.00 $

In late 2021, Ford and Supercars fans were treated to the first glimpse at the (then) new Mustang Gen3 Supercar in a promo video which did the rounds across the web.

The video featured the new Gen3 Mustang, dressed in a stunning, yet low key, dark blue Ford Performance Stealth Testing Livery turning its first shakedown laps at full noise around Queensland Raceway.

The video featuring the Stealth Mustang and more importantly, the first shakedown laps were critical steps in the process to seeing the Gen3 Mustang officially launched to the public (featuring an updated lighter blue livery which also featured Repco branding) at the Bathurst 1000 in the weeks following - albeit in prototype form using the S550 Mustang styling. Ford would later go on to update the Mustang shape to the S650 version to race in Supercars in 2023.

The Ford Mustang GT S550 Prototype Gen3 Supercar never ended up competing officially due to the later update to the newer body shape, however, it represents a really important piece of the Mustang Supercars Gen3 story. The Stealth Mustang can lay claim to being the first Ford Gen3 Supercar and what a fine example it is - the mouth watering livery on that Prototype Gen3 Mustang body really looks incredible, and the model will too.

This 1:18 scale model has been produced in sealed body resin with clear windows and detailed interior in a limited edition with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

Classic Carlectables 18814 1/18 Holden LJ Torana GTR XU-1 Salamanca Red

124.00 $

The Holden Torana is a mid-sized car manufactured by Holden from 1967 to 1980. The name comes from an Aboriginal word meaning “to fly”.
The first Torana was released in 1967 and was a four-cylinder compact vehicle with origins in the British Vauxhall Vivas of the mid 1960s.
In Australia Holden released the LJ Torana GTR XU-1, with performance-enhanced drivetrain and handling. From this time through to the release of the Holden Commodore, the Torana remained as Holden’s most successful sport vehicle, with many victories garnered in rallying and circuit racing.
In February 1972, the face-lifted LJ Torana was introduced with the six-cylinder models now visually associated with the larger Holden HQ series. There were many mechanical components shared with the LC, with the major changes limited to the choice of engines.
The 3300 engine was adopted as the engine for the LJ Torana GTR sedan with a total of 81,813 LJ Toranas were built by Holden in Australia, with some exported to New Zealand.

Spark SP7661 1/43 Mercedes AMG Petronas W12 E Performance No. 77 Valtteri Bottas 3rd Bahrain GP

44.00 $
The biggest technical challenge on the 2021 F1 cars has been adapting to the new aerodynamic regulations, with the introduction of several significant changes to key performance areas on the car. “If you’re looking to slow a car down, which is effectively what the regulation changes were intended to do, modifying the floor is by far the easiest and cheapest way of achieving your objective,” said James Allison. “The floor is such an important aerodynamic component that small geometrical changes bring large reductions in performance. Once the rules had been established, our task was to figure out how to recover the losses brought by the changes.”
