With deep-rooted popularity amongst hardcore cross-country drivers as well as urban cool kids that just like the style and presence, the Land Cruiser 60 launched 1980 and continued in production until 1990. With a 40+ year history, the tough looks and unbreakable reputation of this classic SUV continue to shine across outdoor and city scenes. This round eye early 1980 model was resold in 2021 and features custom specifications from Australia’s leading ‘ARB’ off-road parts brand. Heavy-duty functional items such as large fog lamps, roof carrier, distinctive snorkel and strong exterior guards combine with slightly raised vehicle height and rugged all-terrain tires to handle the toughest beach-to-bush adventures. The color variations are traditional beige and feel-like blue.

• ARB front bumper with animal guard wrap around the sides of the car. Other options include large light and winch that uses wire for its last wind to recreate the intrepid realism of the original.

• The weather strip enhances the airtightness around the door and the fuzzy cargo mat recreates the texture. Rather than simply scaling down the original, this model seeks to capture the personality and atmosphere of this iconic Land Cruiser.

McLaughlin's 2020 championship win sealed a 'Three-Peat' of consecutive driver's championships for both him and the team in what is the 10th drivers championship for DJR/DJR Team Penske in the 40th Anniversary for the team.

In claiming such a historic milestone, McLaughlin became the 1st Ford driver to win three straight championships since Ian Geoghegan won four in a row from 1966-1969 and only the 4th driver in history to claim the feat, joining Mark Skaife, Jamie Whincup and Geoghegan in the record books.

This model will be based on the 2020 Bathurst 1000 livery where McLaughlin was officially crowned the champion.

If winning the 2018 championship was a road to redemption for Scott McLaughlin and Shell V-Power Racing Team then his 2019 championship win was a road to broken records.

McLaughlin and the team were simply in a league of their own for much of the year, starting by winning both races at the season opening Adelaide 500 to give the brand new Ford Mustang GT a perfect debut along with claiming McLaughlin’s first Adelaide 500 crown. From Adelaide, McLaughlin went on an absolute tear leaving all competition behind him. He racked up race wins at Albert Park, Symmons Plains, Phillip Island, Barbagallo, Winton and then Hidden Valley where he became the first driver to ever accomplish the feat of winning the Triple Crown.

Wins at Townsville and Queensland Raceway were followed by a weekend sweep at The Bend Motorsport Park which pushed his tally to 16 wins for the year, equaling the record of most race wins in a season set by Craig Lowndes in 1996. Fittingly, McLaughlin broke that 23-year-old record at his home round at Pukekohe in front of an adoring New Zealand crowd, notching up win number 17 for the year in his 100th Supercars Championship round start.

The next focus for the young Kiwi was claiming a maiden Bathurst 1000 win and that’s exactly what he did, McLaughlin and co-driver Alexandre Prémat put in supreme driving performances to take out the first Bathurst win for the team in 25 years and the first under the DJR Team Penske banner.

The almost-perfect season was brought - literally - crashing back to earth at the following round, the Gold Coast 600. McLaughlin hit a concrete wall at 140km/h while pushing the limits in qualifying, the savage impact writing off his Bathurst-winning #17 Mustang, never to be raced again. A mammoth round-the-clock effort saw the team build a new car in a week for the Sandown 500 where he and Premat’s ninth place finish was enough for McLaughlin to wrap up the 2019 championship with a round to spare.

Second and fourth place finishes at the Newcastle 500 capped off a remarkable season, McLaughlin raising the Supercars Championship trophy to become just the 10th driver to win back-to-back titles after a year where he took 18 wins, 15 poles and 22 podiums, along with being voted the Most Popular Driver by the fans and the Driver’s Driver by his peers.

The 1983 James Hardie 1000 was an endurance race for Touring Cars that complied with CAMS Group C regulations. It was also Round 4 of the 1983 Australian Endurance Championship.

The Holden Dealer Team took a controversial, but legal victory with the team’s second Holden VH Commodore driven by John Harvey, Peter Brock and Larry Perkins. The Holder Dealer Team Commodore finished a lap ahead of Allan Moffat and his Japanese team mate Yoshimi Katayama in their Mazda RX-7.

Allan Grice in the #6 VH Commodore had dramas on Friday’s Practice hitting the wall on the Cutting, after a collision with David Seldon. With the car repaired, it was the 8th quickest in Hardies Heros. Grice had a great start to the race and found himself in the lead after the 05 MHDT car retired. On lap 38 the car ran out of fuel and a lengthy pitstop ensued. Back in the race, Colin Bond raced into 2nd position but #6 Commodore was starting to loose its brakes. Even though the problem could not be fixed, they continued the race. Eventually finishing in 3rd place with the second STP/Roadways #14 car in 4th.
