141.00 $

AlphaTauri AT03 No.10 Scuderia AlphaTauri

Gasly continued to race for AlphaTauri in 2022 alongside Tsunoda. An engine fire caused his retirement from the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix. He scored points at the Saudi Arabian and Australian Grands Prix, but failed to do so at the following four races, which included retirement from a collision with Lando Norris at the Miami Grand Prix. He ended the zero-point streak by finishing fifth at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Five more races without points followed, including a collision with teammate Tsunoda that ended his race at the British Grand Prix. Gasly qualified tenth at the Austrian Grand Prix but collided with Lewis Hamilton in the sprint and Sebastian Vettel in the race, finishing fifteenth.

Classic Carlectables 18671 1/18 Holden HR Premier Egmont Maroon Metallic*

108.00 $

With diminishing sales of the HD, Holden’s response was the HR. Although the body changes looked mild, they involved reworking the roof line and changing almost all the exterior panels to give a sleeker, more modern profile. A new grille with squared–off headlight surrounds at the front and ‘tower type’ lights at the rear only added to the looks, it proved very successful and made the HR one of the biggest–selling Holdens of all. Compared to 178,927 for the HD and 252,352 for the HR (produced until January 1968.) This lifted sales of the HR Holden to the level that Holden received from then popular EH Holden which had sold 256,959 vehicles. As well as styling changes, the Holden’s performance was improved by virtue of an enlarged version of the ‘red engine’ with higher compression ratios.

The 179 was enlarged to become the very popular 186. Other HR changes included a slightly widened track and a wider rear windscreen. While the Special was the most common type of HR, the Premier was the top of the line and it had plusher cabin trimmings, including a wood grain finish (artificial), body trim included stainless steel around the wheel arches, along the boot between the tail lights and stone guards. There were many options for the HR, like power steering, front–wheel disc brakes, a limited–slip differential and yet more with the Nasco accessories like sill chrome mouldings, wheel trim rings, side mirror, radio, aerial, hood ornament were available.

Six months after the launch, all HRs were given a safety upgrade with the addition of front seat belts, windscreen washers, reverse lights, sun visors and a shatterproof interior rear–vision mirror. The fitting of seat belts as standard was the forerunner of many significant safety–related features pioneered by Holden in Australia.

To some the HR lacked get-up-and-go – the anticipation of the all new engines not producing the expected performance machines many lusted after. In 186 Premier Powerglide guise it had a top speed of around 88 miles per hour, and would do the standing quarter in 19.2sec. These figures were respectable rather than breathtaking. While the HR may not have been a street brawler, it would cruise effortlessly at 80 mph and it would do it while instilling confidence in the driver. Anyone who had driven the HD at similar speeds knew the HR was way in front, being much more sure footed. It may not have had the taut ride found on some European sedans, but it did corner with more comfort and confidence than its predecessor. Its popularity then means that today it still remains one of the most popular old Holdens for enthusiasts.

Item includes certificate and production number plate, mounted to the chassis.

Classic Carlectables 18566 1/18 Holden FC Special Taxi De Luxe Red Cabs

100.00 $

The Holden FC was a great achievement for Holden, introduced on the 6th of May 1958. The model was extremely popular, at its peak the model had over 50% of the market share. During the production of the FC it was the first time Holden had produced more than 100,000 units in a year. Holden created a major milestone with the FC when on October 22nd 1958 it became the 500,000 Holden produced.

The Holden FC was popular a model for the taxi industry, the car combined low maintenance, reliability and comfort. Available in 3 trim levels, the ‘217’ Business sedan modest interior was originally targeted towards the taxi and fleet market. The higher level of trim in the ‘225’ Special was favoured with the public, as such, many taxi companies including De-Luxe Red Cabs operated the Special in their fleet.

The starting price Special Sedan was £1173, great value for a car that out performed most of its rivals.
After a production run of 191,724 vehicles, in January 1960 the FC was replaced by an all new model the Holden FB.

Item includes certificate and production number plate, mounted to the chassis.

Authentic Collectables ACD18F24D 1/18 Mobil 1 Optus Racing #25 Ford Mustang GT - 2024 Bosch Power Tools Perth SuperSprint Race 9 Winner Chaz Mostert

114.00 $

There’s only one Mozzie. After a couple years of big name drivers leaving Supercars, Chaz Mostert thankfully remains, and is one of the biggest names in the sport.

The likeable, universally respected and fast driver returns for his fifth year with Walkinshaw Andretti United for the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship Season, a year which could prove to be one of his best opportunities to add a championship crown to his already impressive resume which includes two Bathurst 1000 victories.

Racing the stunning white, black and teal #25 Optus backed Ford Mustang GT in 2024, this model is set to be replicated based on the Perth SuperSprint weekend where Mostert was on fire, taking two front row starts, a pole position and a victory in race 9 which saw him claim not only the first win for Ford for the season, but also the first Ford win for Walkinshaw Andretti United.

It will be another important addition to collections for both Mostert and WAU fans.

This 1:18 scale model is scheduled to be produced in high quality die-cast with opening parts which includes the bonnet and both the driver and passenger doors.

A highly detailed racing cockpit can be seen through the molded clear glasshouse, or by opening the doors to examine the interior further. Under the bonnet includes a detailed 5.4-litre Coyote quad overhead cam V8 and engine bay surround. Underneath the model, the undercarriage details the unique Gen3 floorpan.

Comprised of roughly 204 individual metal and plastic parts, with anywhere between 100-200 steps in paint and decoration finishing, including tampo printing where possible, photo etched parts including the bonnet pints, brake rotors and more, this is a high quality, detailed collectors model.

It is scheduled to be produced in an exclusive, one-off limited edition with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity presented in its own, Authentic Collectables branded protective cardboard folder.

Once this model is sold out, it won't be available again.
