Dick Johnson Racing is without doubt one of the most iconic teams in Australian motorsport and at the Repco Bathurst 1000 in 2022, the team celebrates their 1000th championship race start.

In doing so, DJR becomes the first team in ATCC/Supercars history to achieve the incredible feat - and what better place to celebrate the milestone than at the famous Mount Panorama circuit, which holds such a significant place in the history of the team.

Officially established in 1980 and entered in their first Australian Touring Car Championship race at Symmons Plains in Tasmania in 1981 where Dick Johnson raced his legendary Tru-Blu XD Falcon, the team has remained a constant in Australia's main game of motorsport ever since.

In the hearts and minds of a legion of passionate fans, DJR are Australia's Ford team. They have raced a variety of iconic Falcons, Sierras and Mustangs with some of the the biggest names in motorsport behind the wheel, taking out 10 drivers' championships and a horde of race wins, pole positions and podium finishes along the way. And of course, 4 legendary Bathurst 1000 victories.

To celebrate the milestone, the team at Shell V-Power Racing dug into their extensive history of race cars over the past 40+ years and have created an absolutely stunning retro livery which will be raced by both Will Davison / Alex Davison in car 17 and Anton De Pasquale / Tony D'Alberto in car 100, with the number change from De Pasquale's regular season number 11 paying tribute to Repco's 100th anniversary celebrations.

The 1000 races celebration livery blends the old and the new perfectly and will make an incredible collectable for fans of Dick Johnson Racing. It's a term that gets used a lot but this is seriously must have for collectors and fans.

Maybe one of the more surprising driver moves for the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship Season was the move of 2017 Bathurst 1000 winner David Reynolds to Team 18.

An absolute fan favourite driver, Reynolds’ team change comes with a hot streak of form, taking out a win and 4 consecutive podiums to end his 2023 campaign in the Penrite Mustang. This form is something that both Team 18 and Reynolds will hope to continue as he races the #20 Tradie Beer Chevrolet Camaro.

Perhaps one of the best driver and major sponsor combinations in pitlane, Reynolds’ 2024 Camaro features a bright Tradie Beer livery that is very eye-catching, with this model set to be replicated based on the season-opening Thrifty Bathurst 500 round.

This 1:18 scale model is scheduled to be produced in high quality die-cast with opening parts which includes the bonnet and both the driver and passenger doors.

A highly detailed racing cockpit can be seen through the molded clear glasshouse, or by opening the doors to examine the interior further. Under the bonnet includes a detailed 5.7-litre Chevrolet Racing LTR V8 and engine bay surround. Underneath the model, the undercarriage details the unique Gen3 floorpan.

Comprised of roughly 205 individual metal and plastic parts, with anywhere between 100-200 steps in paint and decoration finishing, including tampo printing where possible, photo etched parts including the bonnet pints, brake rotors and more, this is a high quality, detailed collectors model.

It is scheduled to be produced in an exclusive, one-off limited edition with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity presented in its own, Authentic Collectables branded protective cardboard folder.

Once this model is sold out, it won't be available again.
