VW CC Team HARD - BTCC 2019 - Michael Crees

In his first season of BTCC racing newcomer Michael Crees really surpassed expectations. Taking a number of points finishes the Kent man did superbly well in the team HARD ran VW CC. In only his third season of car racing he was quickly a fan's favourite and this brightly coloured car looks every bit the BTCC contender.

The three-time Formula One World Champion, Nelson Piquet is known by F1 fans the world over as a tough-talking, no-nonsense kind of racer. This McLaren from the late 1970s typifies the sort of machine that he made his debut in, racing at the Dutch GP at Zandvoort in this DFV powered machine he showed the speed and ability that later awarded him his 3 World Driver Championships.

While Nelson Piquet did not make his debut in the McLaren M23 in 1978, it was driving this machine in his second, third and fourth races that he became noticed by the F1 paddock. The young Brazilian impressing many with his speed and race craft, the signs of a future world champion were there for all to see, despite only managing a high of a 9th place finish in the Italian Grand Prix at Monza.

One of the most ground breaking F1 cars of all time, the ground effect Lotus 79 had proved to be the class of the field in 1978. However, by 1979 it had been outclassed and it was a much more difficult season. The iconic black and gold JPS livery was also, gone replaced instead by the green livery with Martini stripes and additional sponsorship from Tissot watches. The USA West GP saw Mario Andretti score a fourth placed finish, just behind the two dominant Ferraris and the Williams of Alan Jones.

US dream racer meets German tuning expertise

The German affiliate of Callaway, the US Corvette tuners, develop and build their cars in Leingarten near Heilbronn, Germany. Callaway Competition is the only team to have participated in all races since the GT Masters was established, and has already won both the drivers’ and team championships twice. In 2021, the team around the German driver Marvin Kirchhöfer, and his Swiss driving colleague, Jeffrey Schmidt, finished the season in 10th position with the Chevrolet Corvette C7 GT3-R.

The BMW M4 GT3 "Schubert Motorsport, No.33" DTM 2023 races around your Digital 132 race track at high speed. German driver Rene Rast competes in this number 33 for Team Schubert Motorsport. Schubert Motorsport is a private motorsport team founded by European Autocross champion Torsten Schubert in 1999.
