While 1977 saw the introduction of a new version of the iconic Tyrrell P34 six-wheel Formula One car, by mid-season it has become apparent that this new design was actually inferior in many ways to the previous years car. 50 years of Jägermeister adult racing

Carrera and Jägermeister are celebrating 50 years of Jägermeister Motorsports with the Ford Capri Zakspeed Turbo ‘Jägermeister Racing Team, No.1’. It’s a slotcar that lives in the fast lane on every Carrera circuit. This stylish speed king in an orange livery was piloted by the German racing driver Klaus Ludwig from 1980 onwards in the old DRM championship, as he drifted round the bends, overtook every rival and shot over the line to see the chequered flag. The large tail wing was typical of the racing age, making the generally bulky design ideal for long distances. The 4-cylinder inline engine generated an unbelievable 600 hp.

To mark the Rennmeister racing car jubilee, a 1:32-scale replica of a 1970s classic has been sent out onto Carrera circuits in a bright orange livery. The McLaren P1 is a limited production plug-in hybrid sports car by British manufacturer McLaren Automotive. The concept car debuted at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Deliveries to retail customers began in the UK in October 2013. The entire P1 production of 375 units was sold out by November 2013. The production run ended in December 2015. It is considered to be the long-awaited successor to the McLaren F1, utilizing hybrid power and Formula 1 technology. It does not have the same three seat layout as its predecessor. The design of the headlights is very similar to the shape of the McLaren logo. Just like the McLaren F1 road car of 1992, the McLaren P1 is a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive design that uses a carbon fibre monocoque and roof structure safety cage concept called MonoCage, which is a development of the MonoCell used in the current McLaren 12C Coupe and McLaren 12C Coupe Spider upgrade that came out in early 2012.

In 1980, one year after the spectacular launch of the Procar series, GS Tuning landed a lucrative sponsorship deal with the chemical giant BASF, who gave the BMW M1 an ultra-stylish look with white spirals on a red background. Back then the German racing legend Hans-Joachim Stuck was always in contention in the BMW M1 BASF. The extraordinary livery would still take first place today!
