"Designed Fast, Designed Tough" may be an understatement when describing the TALION™ 6S BLX Extreme Bash Speed Truggy. Made of strong anodized 7075 T6 aluminum, the laser-etched chassis plate gains further rigidity from front and rear aluminum chassis braces. Strong composite chassis side pods, along with a center body support and brace, provide even more rugged resilience. Durable steel driveshafts plus all-metal diff outdrives and gearbox internals keep the heavy-duty 4-wheel drivetrain rolling over punishing tracks. An EXB-toughened suspension system smooths the ride, with a steel rear suspension mount and adjustable oil-filled shocks mounted on 7075 T6 anodized aluminum front and rear shock towers.

The TALION™ 6S BLX Extreme Bash Speed Truggy blasts over dirt, asphalt, and grass on tough MT wheels outfitted with multi-terrain, belted dBoots® Katar tires. They provide all the traction you'll need to maximize the speed potential of the 6S-capable brushless power system's Spektrum™ Firma™ 4074 2050Kv Brushless Motor. With its DX3™ DSMR® 2.4GHz radio system, SR6110AT receiver, and Firma™ 150A ESC, this model also provides the benefits of Spektrum™ AVC® (Active Vehicle Control®) and Smart technologies straight out of the box.

With the AVC® system's on-demand traction control, you can dial-in extra stability as needed to carve corners or nail jumps without backing off the power. You have full-throttle freedom over rough terrain, slick surfaces and loose dirt. When you don't want the extra traction, just dial back the stability. The DX3™ radio's AVC® system works behind the scenes, making hundreds of minute steering and throttle adjustments per second to keep the TALION™ 6S BLX Extreme Bash Speed Truggy precisely on the line you want to hold.

Download the optional Spektrum™ Dashboard™ app to your mobile device — it's available free from the iPhone App Store and Google Play — to take full advantage of the Smart electronics' telemetry capabilities. Once you connect your mobile device wirelessly via Bluetooth to the DX3™ transmitter, you can use it to view top speed, battery voltage, and other essential data in real time (requires an optional BT2000 Bluetooth Module, available separately).

These adjustable, aluminum-bodied, oil-filled shocks are mounted on EXB 7075 T6 aluminum front and rear shock towers. Along with the heavy-duty front and rear arms, they provide smooth travel over rough off-road tracks.

WHEELS & TIRES

The durable, belted dBoots® Katar tires with medium-compound foam inserts offer long-lasting performance and feature an aggressive tread pattern for excellent traction on a wide range of surfaces. The tires are mounted on tough, 4.2" MT wheels with durable hubs.

The original Grasshopper needs little introduction. It was a Tamiya legend which inspired legions of fans since the 1980s. For many, it was their very first introduction into the world of radio control assembly kits. The original Grasshopper is still among Tamiya’s best-selling kits to this day. Now the legend is re-imagined as the Comical Grasshopper, with a new body inspired by the famous original. The re-imagined body sits on a new and dedicated variant of the proven off-road chassis: the WR-02CB.

WR-02CB Chassis 

The WR-02CB chassis is an exciting chassis at home on- and off-road, providing smooth driving and the potential for exciting wheelies! It features a pre-assembled gearbox with motor already attached to save hassle in the assembly process. Long suspension arms and CVA oil dampers make for excellent off-road performance, while underguard and side guards give great protection. A rear wheelie bar helps support the model when it leans back, maintaining a fun wheels-in-the air stance as the model plunges forward. Green and white 2-piece wheels are joined by bubble tires (front: ribbed, rear: round block) for a fun look and drive.

This is a re-released version of Item 58050, the classic Tamiya 2WD R/C buggy which was originally released in 1985. A roll cage and headlights help give this buggy a scale-realistic presence. The body and roof are made from durable, lightweight polycarbonate and a driver figure is included to liven up the cockpit. Ribbed front tires provide directional control and rear tires feature a block tread pattern for high grip, allowing you to enjoy dynamic off-road action.

Durable lightweight ABS frame is matched with a battery case which is compatible with modern power sources such as Tamiya Racing Packs and LF batteries. 4-wheel independent suspension is equipped with aluminium oil dampers and trailing arms and a wide tread ensures excellent off-road stability. Enclosed gearbox protects against dirt and debris and is equipped with a differential for smooth cornering. In addition, driveshafts feature dog bone- type joints and dust covers to ensure superb protection.

At the Sharp End

This R/C model assembly kit is a re-released and updated version of the Super Sabre, a beginner-friendly buggy released in 1987. It is based upon a bathtub frame chassis with 4WD and CVA oil dampers: a recipe for off-road success enhanced by gripps hybrid tires. The aerodynamic polycarbonate body is pre-painted and pre-cut, and really looks the part on this speedy model.

Capable Off-Road Chassis

This shaft-driven 4WD chassis has a midship motor and sealed front and rear gearboxes, each containing a differential gear for smooth cornering. It is broken down into three easily-maintained sections: bathtub frame and gearboxes, and features short CVA oil dampers on the double-wishbone suspension, plus a front stabilizer to combat roll. Oval block/pin spike hybrid tires deliver superb grip, and together with the efficient 4WD make the Super Sabre right at home off-road.
