The original Kyosho Nitro USA-1 set the standard for RC Monster Truck power and performance when it was released in 1990. 30 years later, the torch has passed to the newest Nitro USA-1, which outperforms the original in EVERY respect. Yes, it's that much better… and we even build it for you.

Built on a pickup truck chassis, large diameter tires and big engines with massive horsepower were installed by fun-loving American off-roaders to create the monster truck. These ever-popular monster trucks can be seen on specially-made racing circuits or jumping rows of cars in stadiums across the USA. Many R/C monster truck models have been produced over the years. First among equals is the legendary 1/8 scale USA-1 that embodied the might of American trucking power during the 1980’s and 90’s. Officially licensed by Kyosho in the 1990’s, the R/C model uniquely captured the power and glory of the USA-1. Now it’s ‘comeback-time’ for the USA-1, with modern chassis and drivetrain technology, upgrades unique to the USA-1 throughout, and a newly-designed ‘ULTRA SCALE BODY’ with form and detail finished to display-model standards. The iconic American flag graphic emblazoned on the body makes your heart swell with pride! The chassis features shaft-driven 4WD and 5-link suspension based on the Mad Crusher 2.0 and FO-XX models. Most of the suspension components have been uniquely upgraded and reinforced for the USA-1 at each point to handle the powerful new KE25SP2 engine, and the rigors of monster trucking. A 3-speed automatic transmission produces dynamic acceleration, which is enhanced by a true suspension system to produce "scale" running characteristics worthy of the prestigious USA-1, and make you feel like a monster truck driving god. Released as a pre-assembled Readyset, the USA-1 is almost ready for action straight out of the box.

Rigid Chassis Design

The combination of the rigid frame with a shaft-driven 4WD system and five-link suspension is well-suited to handle the full grunt of the powerful new engine, just like the original machine. This Readyset model comes with R/C system pre-installed.

Polycarbonate Body

Under license by USA-1, the newly developed polycarbonate body has been produced to a spectacular level of detail with body size and tire ratio almost identical to that of the real USA-1. With separately molded accessory body parts including grille, carburetor, mirrors, roll cage, chassis-mounted front bumper, and removable 5-series fog light row on the roof, the spirit and legend of the USA-1 is captured in all its glory.

Triple Carburetors

Molded and chrome-plated triple carburetors look identical to those used on the real truck, which looks awesome sticking through the hood once the body is attached. Coupled with the growl of the powerful engine, this accessory creates even more original details of the USA-1 more than ever.

KE25SP2 Engine

Equipped with a new KE25SP2 engine, the easier-to-adjust low-speed needle makes it easier to produce more power than the previous KE25SP engine. The engine is fitted with a pull starter so a starter box isn’t required and engine settings have been optimized at the factory.

Automatic Transmission

The time-tested 3-speed automatic transmission effectively utilizes the full power of the engine. In the low speed range, the torque of the engine is optimized by the ratio of first gear, while the 2nd gear covers the medium speed range where torque tends to be insufficient. Acceleration to maximum speed is achieved smoothly and efficiently.

Differentials

Differentials in the front and rear axles are taken directly from a well-developed World Champion 1/8-scale off-road car, and are equipped with metal ring, pinion, and spider gears to handle the power of the 25-class (approx. 4.2cc) engine, all while managing the difference in rotation between the left and right tires during turns for smooth, stable driving characteristics and increased traction.

5-Link Suspension

A 5-link suspension platform controls the rigid front and rear axles to minimize drive loss and deliver superior traction and handling over uneven and varying running surfaces. The large-capacity oil shocks reliably help to absorb the impacts from the running surface.

Reinforced Axle Housing

The reinforced axle housing thrives under high-power and rough road conditions while improving crash resistance. The scale aspects of the dynamic steering options of the early monster trucks can be enhanced with the addition of optional rear wheel steering to create a true AWS (All-Wheel Steering) system.

Rigid Suspension

Combination of big tires with 5-link suspension provides plenty of stroke to overcome large obstacles. Lateral rods that increase suspension rigidity are also standard equipment on front and rear.

It's So Easy And Fun To Drive!

To drive the Quantum XT FLUX, simply pick up the controller with your left hand, put your left index finger into the trigger area, and then put your right hand on the steering wheel – it’s as natural as driving a real car! Turn the wheel to go left and right, and gently pull on the trigger with your left index finger to go forwards. To stop the car, gently push away from you with your left index finger - then release and push away again to go into reverse. It takes seconds to get used to this easy operation, and pretty soon you'll be racing with your friends!

METAL CENTER DIFFERENTIAL

All-metal EXB gear diffs give the KRATON 4S BLX Speed Monster Truck EXtreme Bash durability. An aluminum-cased center differential has also been added that provides the ultimate traction in any surface conditions.

MODULAR CHASSIS DESIGN

Separate, easily removable chassis modules for the power system, electronics and differential components make routine maintenance fast and simple. The KRATON 4S BLX chassis has been updated to accept a center diff module, and also now includes hinge pin bracing and a dirt drain.

OIL-FILLED SHOCKS

Long, aluminum-bodied, oil-filled shocks with silicone O-rings are mounted on high shock towers. These plus wide suspension arms give the KRATON 4S BLX the plush suspension travel needed to soak up bumps.

INCREASED DIRT PROTECTION

With dirt guards for the wishbones, outdrive protectors, and taller side guards all added for extra protection against the elements, the KRATON 4S BLX is more prepared than ever for high-speed, all-road blasting.

dBOOTS COPPERHEAD 2 LP TIRES

The dBoots COPPERHEAD 2 LP tires are vented to disperse water for improved durability. Their multi-surface, chunky tread pattern delivers awesome traction on a wide range of surfaces. The tires are mounted on tough, 3.8” MT black multi-spoke wheels with CNC-machined, red-anodized 17mm hubs.

SPEKTRUM S662 STEERING SERVO

The installed Spektrum S662 digital, waterproof steering servo easily handles the demands of high-speed, all-road blasting with full metal gears and high torque (236 oz-in @ 7.4V). It also features an industry-standard 25T spline servo horn.

SPEKTRUM BRUSHLESS POWER SYSTEM

The brushless power system includes an efficient Spektrum Firma 2400Kv brushless motor matched to an updated, cool-running Spektrum Firma 120A Smart V2 waterproof ESC with IC5 connectors (also compatible with EC5 connectors). The KRATON 4S BLX can reach speeds of 55+ mph with a 4S LiPo battery and optional pinion gear, available separately.

SPEKTRUM SLT3 2.4GHz 3-CHANNEL TRANSMITTER

The included Spektrum SLT3 transmitter is ergonomically designed for fatigue-free bashing and has a foam wheel for precise fingertip control. Using the throttle limiting function, new RC drivers can limit top speed to 50% or 75% of the monster truck’s full potential until they’re ready to unleash it all.

SPEKTRUM SR315 3-CHANNEL DUAL PROTOCOL RECEIVER

Compatible with SLT and DSMR protocols, the included Spektrum SR315 3-channel receiver offers outstanding range and fast response rate. It’s also Smart telemetry compatible (in DSMR mode and using the Spektrum Dashboard app).

The Mini-T 2.0 has been designed with a 1.5mm thick 6061-T6 Aluminum chassis plate. The aluminum chassis provides more strength and durability while vastly improving performance.

The Mini-T 2.0 comes equipped with a 2S 650mAh Li-Po Battery for excellent performance and run time.

The Mini-T 2.0 comes fully assembled and ready to rock. Just install the included AAA batteries in the transmitter, charge the included LiPo battery with the included charger.

The injection-molded shocks feature threaded shock collars allowing for easy preload/ride height adjustments. Additionally, the shock bodies feature a bottom loading, re-buildable shock cartridge with dual o-rings to help keep the oil in the shocks.

CONVENIENT MODULAR DESIGN

The VORTEKS™ 4X4 3S BLX Stadium Truck RTR incorporates the signature ARRMA® easy-access modular design. Separate, easily removable chassis modules for the power system, electronics and differential components make routine maintenance fast and simple. The power module can be detached from the chassis as a complete unit by removing just one screw. With the power module removed, the slipper clutch can be reached easily for servicing by taking out three screws that attach the gear cover.

ELECTRONICS MODULE

A two-piece molding screwed to the VORTEKS™ Stadium Truck's chassis serves as its electronics module, containing a waterproof receiver box, servo mount and ESC tray.

DIFFERENTIAL MODULE

Short Course Style Wheel with Replaceable Center Hub

Short course style wheels with 17mm wheel hex reduce the rotating mass of the tire while providing additional clearance for all of the steering components. This exciting shaft-driven 4WD R/C buggy assembly kit creates the Plasma Edge II, and includes stylish polycarbonate body and rear wing parts. Marking stickers add to the racy mood of the model, as do fluorescent yellow star dish wheels and white CVA oil shocks. The TT-02B is a dedicated off-road buggy chassis that offers hassle-free assembly and maintenance, as well as superb controllability.

Shaft-Driven 4WD

The shaft-driven 4WD TT-02B buggy chassis employs a skid-shaped frame. Its suspension setup uses 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension with long arms, plus white CVA oil shock units, giving the car assured handling, while left/right suspension arms and uprights are identical to facilitate hassle-free assembly. Front/rear gearboxes include 4-bevel differentials for smooth operation, and are sealed to ensure that dust can't get inside. The top can be removed simply by loosening a few screws, making maintenance a breeze. Four different gear ratios can be applied with the use of three separately-sold types of pinion gear, allowing you to match the characteristics of your car setup to the conditions at any given time.
