dBOOTS® RAGNAROK™ V2 TIRES

The tough, off-road tread pattern of the vented dBoots RAGNAROK V2 tires provides an aggressive grip for high speeds and easy handling on a wide variety of surfaces. The tires are mounted on stylish five-spoke wheels that complement the scale truck looks.

ADJUSTABLE OIL-FILLED SHOCKS

The adjustable, oil-filled shocks have black-anodized aluminum bodies and are mounted on black-anodized aluminum front and rear shock towers. The shocks keep the tires firmly planted for high traction and provide smooth travel over rough off-road terrain.

The pistol grip shape feels natural in the hand and with just a pull of the trigger you are off and running! There’s buttons to control the lighting, too: turn the lights fully on or off, or have just the brake lights on! The control is literally in your hands!

550 12T MOTOR & FIXED GEAR MOTOR MOUNT

The durable and robust 12-turn, 550-size motor is the workhorse of the Maverick RC fleet, and it’s the perfect introduction to RC driving for most people! With high amounts of torque and sealed motor design it’s a great, low-maintenance way to just ‘plug and go’ for hours of fun! The motor mount also features fixed gearing positions so there’s no risk of getting the gear mesh wrong, should you decide to change the gearing for more torque (faster acceleration) or higher top speeds – super simple! Just a couple of screws will do the trick!

60A WATERPROOF ESC

The MSC-60BR-WP is the ideal partner for the 550 brushed motor fitted in the Quantum2 MT! You can use a variety of battery types and sizes with it, from 6-7 cell NiMH or 2S batteries. It’s fitted with an XT60 plug, and a plug adapter is included to let you use appropriate batteries fitted with the popular white RC plug. It’s also waterproof so it’s great for blasting through mud and puddles! Please note: electronics are not designed for submerged operation. Be sure to rinse off any dirt or salt water with clean water immediately. Check the motor to make sure no water or dirt is inside, spray with electric motor cleaning spray and let dry fully before driving again.

The solid brush guard style bumper not only looks great – it’s fully functional, too! The back bumper matches the styling of the front, plus it’s extra-thick for increased protection. You’ll also notice the huge wheelie bar right there! It’s not only got functional spinning wheels to help you keep control during speed runs, but it’s adjustable as well! Keep it low for extra control or let those front wheels fly for extra style! And of course we have to mention the bright red rear LED lights – PLUS working brake lights, which you can turn off and on from the controller!

FRONT SUSPENSION AND CHASSIS BRACE HOLDER!

We have listened to Quantum MT owners and made tons of improvements all around the chassis! One of the many little details you’ll find on the Quantum2 MT is this extra thick brace that ties the shock tower and bulkhead together, strengthening everything into a solid unit!

QUICK AND EFFICIENT MOTOR REMOVAL AND ADJUSTMENT!

The motor is held in place with a fixed motor clamp under a heavy duty plastic seal, protecting it from dirt, stones and other debris that could damage the spur gear. And in case you ever want to swap out the motor to give the Quantum2 MT a good clean, the motor is easily removeable with just 3 screws (and 2 more if you want to take off the motor clamp). You’ll notice that all the hardware is metric machine-thread screws as well – just another mark of steady improvement for Maverick RC!

QUICK ACCESS TO ALL-METAL GEAR DIFFERENTIALS FOR EASY MAINTENANCE!

Just a handful of screws gives you quick and easy access to the differentials front and rear – just like pro racing trucks and buggies! The HD outdrives used to be an option – now, they’re standard parts! Taking a cue from top-spec pro racing models, the Quantum2 MT is fitted with an extra-tough, metal dual-pad slipper clutch. This is not only super durable, it’s adjustable as well! Introducing the Venture Wayfinder, an RC trail truck that embodies the spirit of exploration. The HPI Venture is your steadfast companion, ready to traverse mountains, streams and beyond. It's not just a vehicle, it's a trusted ally for your weekend jaunts or grand explorations!

The Venture combines a realistic front-motor position and formed steel C-channel chassis rails with a realistic suspension and drivetrain. The new Wayfinder body augments the Venture framework, resulting in a unique off-road experience we're proud to provide. The Wayfinder body is meticulously crafted and available in two distinctive color options - a glossy metallic Gunmetal and a vibrant metallic Orange. The design details extend beyond the primary coloring, featuring black accents that embellish the arch extenders and sills creating a striking contrast.
Clear windows provide a realistic look, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the model. With front and rear bumpers, mirrors, a functional roof rack, and a swing-away spare tire mount, the Venture provides an authentic trail experience.

Several Optional parts are now standard equipment. Including the Aluminum lower link set, Aluminum rear 4 link and Universal front driveshafts. The vehicle’s performance is further enhanced by authentically scaled oil-filled shock absorbers and full-time locked differentials, paired with realistically treaded tires, ensuring dependable handling in all off-road conditions.

NEW Wayfinder Body

The Wayfinder body included with the Venture RTR kit is completely outfitted with a range of fabulous scale items. In addition to the hand-painted polycarbonate body on its own, you'll find a pair of side mirrors, a functional roof rack ready for a range of scale accessories, a working swing-away spare tire mount on the back bumper, working D-ring shackles on the front and rear bumpers, tubular brush guard and mounts for LED lights on the front bumper, and adjustable-width rock rails that help the truck glide over tough obstacles.

Scale Chassis Design and Layout

The Venture features a formed steel C-channel chassis and cross braces as the foundation for a realistic truck chassis. The 35-turn crawler-spec motor and the transmission are mounted right up front - just like in a real truck! For additional weight up front, the steering servo is also mounted to the chassis next to the motor. The standard battery position has been moved to be further forward and lower down in the truck to improve handling.

Aluminum Diff Covers

The Venture is packed with awesome scale details - and real metal diff covers are just one of them! Known as the "pumpkin" by most off-roaders, the differentials on each axle on the Venture feature aluminum covers for an instant custom look. You can also customize the diff covers yourself by polishing them or painting them your favorite color!

Swing-Away Tailgate

With a functional swing-away spare tire mount on the back bumper, the Venture adds a super cool feature that is unique among all stock scaler trucks! Fitted with a real, ready-to-use spare tire (the all-new Rockthorn off-road tire on a black CR-10 wheel!), the spare tire mount also helps hold the back of the body in place.

Front & Rear Bumpers

The Venture features sturdy front and rear bumpers to protect the replica body and the chassis from the inevitable scrapes and incidents that come with off-road trail driving. The front bumper is fitted with tubular brush guards and holes where you can mount LED lights for night driving. Both bumpers feature functional D-ring shackles so you can use ropes and bungees to strap down scale gear or attach winch cables.

Functional Roof Rack

No trail run is complete without a full set of scale overland accessories like a rolled-up tent, sleeping bags and more, and the roof is the perfect place to store that while driving from campsite to campsite. Side and rear rails let you use bungees to hold down your gear for extra scaler points - or use a cargo net for ultimate scale realism!

Rock Rail Sliders

Robust side bars, known as rock sliders or rock rails, allow the Venture to slide over obstacles that are just a bit too tall for it to completely clear. Stretching from the front to rear wheel openings, they serve to aid off-road performance as well as protect the body from scratches by ground obstacles like rocks and boulders. Although they are the perfect fit for the Wayfinder body, they can be adjusted in width to fit other scaler bodies.

Rockthorn Off-Road Tires on CR-10 Wheels

The Venture features Rockthorn tires with thick, self-cleaning tread blocks for driving on hard-packed dirt, gravel, wet or dry rocks, loose dirt, mud and more. The Rockthorn tires have additional sidewall tread to help get the truck over extra-difficult obstacles like slippery rocks and tree roots. The tires are mounted on great-looking CR-10 1.9" beadlock-style multispoke wheels, which themselves feature center hub caps that hide the wheel nuts for maximum scale realism.

Includes HPI Option Parts

The Venture scale crawler truck is packed with features already (you can read all about them below), and the Wayfinder version includes a selection of hand-picked options that will make it even more capable not just on the trail, but also through the most difficult terrain. If you already have a Venture, all of these options are also available separately to enhance and strengthen your truck.

Front Universal Driveshafts

#115942 Front Universal Driveshafts - these are stronger than the standard dogbones, and are also completely rebuildable for when you need to perform routine maintenance. They also increase the steering angle for easier turning around obstacles.

6mm Aluminum Lower Links

#116442 Aluminum Lower Links - machined from 6mm thick aluminum alloy and then anodized to match the shock bodies and motor plate, these burly metal links help stiffen the suspension and allow the dual-stage shocks to do their duties to the utmost.

4-Link Rear Suspension

#117079 4-Link Rear - adding extra articulation to the rear axle gives extra grip at critical moments, such as when side-hilling up steep embankments, giving you the confidence to take the Venture to the extreme limits of scale crawler performance.

Battery placement options

The chassis layout of the Venture Wayfinder can be adjusted with three distinct battery positions, right out of the box! We have included the parts to convert your Wayfinder to run any of these three battery locations.

The Front Battery Tray allows you to put your battery pack right up front. The front battery tray replaces the radio box so you'll want to make sure you are running a waterproof receiver like the RF-41WP!

The standard position for the Ready-to-Run Venture is just behind the central gearbox and as low in the chassis as you can get. With the NiMH battery installed, this position gives a slightly forward weight balance and the best centre of gravity.

The rear position is as close to a 50/50 weight balance as you can get!

All-Metal Transmission

The Venture features strong metal gears throughout its transmission. With a main gear set taken from the ultra-fast and ultra-strong Savage XS Flux, the Venture drivetrain can handle LiPo power up to 3S without any upgrades.

Center Transfer Case

In addition to the motor and transmission at the front, the Venture features a centrally mounted transfer case with a gear ratio of 1.5:1. Whilst putting the maximum amount of weight on the front of the chassis, the central location of the transfer case allows the drivetrain to sit low and down the centerline of the chassis so the driveshafts are perpendicular to the axles for maximum power transfer to the tires.

Low Angle Driveshafts

The low angle and central position of the driveshafts allow for maximum power transfer, so as much power as possible reaches the tires. The driveshafts are composite slider-style shafts with universal joints at each end, where they meet the transfer case and axle. At the axles, 13-tooth pinions and 43-tooth ring gears (axle ratio of 3.31:1) sit inside the "pumpkin" or center of the axles. Each differential is equipped with metal diff lockers for pure 4WD traction at all times.

Adjustable Slipper Clutch

An externally adjustable slipper lets you tackle slick rocks and loose surfaces without having to make big changes to the setup of the Venture. Correct adjustment gives you the perfect amount of power and grip by reducing wheelspin - and the easy to reach adjustment nut lets you make quick adjustments on the trail.

Advanced Truck Steering

The steering system for scale RC trucks is very important - and that's why the Venture was designed with the latest advancements in steering and suspension for strength as well as realism. This makes the Venture a versatile scaler truck on the trail! With a Chassis-Mounted Servo (CMS) and Behind The Axle (BTA) steering, plus a functional Panhard bar, you get perfect scale looks with realistic and ideal performance, no matter what terrain you're hitting. Aluminum mounts for the Panhard bar and aluminum steering plates add strength and durability to give you total confidence on the trail.

Panhard Bar

A Panhard bar on aluminum mounts provides extra scale looks, because it's featured on most off-road trucks and vehicles. The purpose of the Panhard bar is to maintain zero bump steer as the axle rises over bumps and falls into holes and ruts. This helps the Venture go exactly where you want it with precise steering control!

CMS (Chassis-Mounted Servo)

The realistic steering for the Venture begins with a Chassis-Mounted Servo. With a strong SS-30MGWR Metal Geared servo firmly mounted at the front of the chassis, the weight of the servo aids the front weight bias of the Venture. The solid metal steering link also looks like it came out of a real truck, and connects to the tough steering knuckle. The high torque (8kg-cm at 6V) SS-30MGWR servo is water-resistant so you can take it through water, snow and mud without fear of damage, and if you want to upgrade the steering it's easy to drop in an ultra-powerful servo for maximum off-road steering.

Zero Ackermann Steering

For a super-tight turning radius, the Venture features zero Ackermann steering angle. This means you have equal steering angles for the front tires when they are steered all the way to the left or right - the maximum amount of steering for the best performance when tackling rugged off-road terrain.

BTA (Behind The Axle) steering

The Venture features Behind The Axle (BTA) steering linkage out of the box, so you don't have to do any complicated modifications to get maximum performance on the trail. A tough steel rod connects the two metal-reinforced steering knuckles behind the front axle. With all of the steering linkage kept out of the way of potential obstacles such as rocks and roots, the truck has a much better approach angle than with standard crawler kit steering designs.

The Venture chassis is loaded with potential, making it extremely versatile on the trail and up tough climbing routes. Rugged Aluminum Parts

Enhancing the look and style of the Venture chassis are aluminum suspension parts that are a fantastic throwback to truck kits from RC's retro golden age. From the axle covers which have the HPI hex logo on them, to the thick shock and rod link mounts, the real metal parts add a great look to the Venture that other scale trucks can't match! Both Panhard bar mounts are also aluminum, as well as all four hex hubs for the wheels. Each hex hub is also held in place on the axles by steel setscrews for additional security.

Multi-Link Suspension

The Venture Wayfinder features a sturdy and reliable 3-link suspension front and a highly articulated 4-link suspension at the rear. 6mm aluminum rod links form the lower suspension links front and rear. The upper links consist of a single aluminum single link for the front, and 2 aluminum upper links at the rear.

Dual Stage Coil-Over Shocks

For ultimate trail tuning, the alloy shock absorbers feature dual-stage shock springs. This means the short spring softens the gentle bumps and dips you encounter while driving, and the longer firm spring catches the harder hits, such as when the Venture is descending a steep embankment. Adjustable Wheelbase

The Venture chassis lets you change the wheelbase from 290mm to 315mm (11.4 to 12.2 inches) by modifying the length of the rear linkages, which can change the look and driving of the truck. If you fit a different body to customize your Venture, adjusting the wheelbase lets the tires fit in the wheel openings, which helps the truck look perfectly scaled.

SC-3SWP3 Crawler Edition ESC

The Venture is equipped with a highly versatile and fully waterproof HPI SC-3SWP3 Crawler Edition electronic speed controller, which is packed with a full range of adjustments and capabilities. In addition to being able to take power from the included 2000mAh NiMH (nickel metal-hydride) rechargeable battery pack, you can swap the battery for a 2S or 3S LiPo (lithium-polymer) battery for extra power and runtime. The Venture on 3S is a beast on the trail!

The SC-3SWP3 Crawler Edition also features our HDC Hill Descent Control adjustable electronic drag brake system to make driving down steep declines more controllable at all angles - just like modern luxury off-roaders!

High Torque SS-30MGWR Steering Servo

The water-resistant HPI SS-30MGWR steering servo is the ideal companion for the Venture electronics package. This is a high torque servo with up to 8kg-cm holding power at 6V, plus it's water-resistant so it can easily handle splashes and water drops when driving through puddles, snow and mud. Mounted directly to the chassis next to motor, it provides extra weight over the front axle to enhance the front weight bias of the Venture.

TF-41 2.4GHz Radio System with Waterproof Receiver

The popular steering wheel & pistol grip HPI TF-41 radio system controls the Venture on its travels, giving you total control of the steering and throttle/brake. The carry handle makes it convenient to take on your trail walks, and the shape of the controller lets you set it on the ground for easy picking it up by the grip. The folding antenna allows it to take up the minimum amount of space in your backpack on the way to the trail. The RF-50 receiver is fully waterproof, so you don't have to think about what you're driving through. For extra protection, the receiver is encased in a secure receiver box which also allows you to install your own radio set.

35-turn Crawler Spec Motor

A sealed, brushed motor with 35 turns provides the perfect mix of speed on the trail and crawling torque for climbing steep embankments and obstacles. It's a standard 540-size motor, so it's easy to change the motor for something else you've got in your collection. Thanks to the all-metal gears in the transmission and standard electronics sizing, you can easily upgrade to a brushless motor and 3S battery for extra speed and wheelspin to get over anything.

Introducing the Venture Wayfinder, an RC trail truck that embodies the spirit of exploration. The HPI Venture is your steadfast companion, ready to traverse mountains, streams and beyond. It's not just a vehicle, it's a trusted ally for your weekend jaunts or grand explorations!

The Venture combines a realistic front-motor position and formed steel C-channel chassis rails with a realistic suspension and drivetrain. The new Wayfinder body augments the Venture framework, resulting in a unique off-road experience we're proud to provide. The Wayfinder body is meticulously crafted and available in two distinctive color options - a glossy metallic Gunmetal and a vibrant metallic Orange. The design details extend beyond the primary coloring, featuring black accents that embellish the arch extenders and sills creating a striking contrast.
Clear windows provide a realistic look, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the model. With front and rear bumpers, mirrors, a functional roof rack, and a swing-away spare tire mount, the Venture provides an authentic trail experience.

Several Optional parts are now standard equipment. Including the Aluminum lower link set, Aluminum rear 4 link and Universal front driveshafts. NEW Wayfinder Body

The Wayfinder body included with the Venture RTR kit is completely outfitted with a range of fabulous scale items. In addition to the hand-painted polycarbonate body on its own, you'll find a pair of side mirrors, a functional roof rack ready for a range of scale accessories, a working swing-away spare tire mount on the back bumper, working D-ring shackles on the front and rear bumpers, tubular brush guard and mounts for LED lights on the front bumper, and adjustable-width rock rails that help the truck glide over tough obstacles.

Scale Chassis Design and Layout

The Venture features a formed steel C-channel chassis and cross braces as the foundation for a realistic truck chassis. The 35-turn crawler-spec motor and the transmission are mounted right up front - just like in a real truck! For additional weight up front, the steering servo is also mounted to the chassis next to the motor. The standard battery position has been moved to be further forward and lower down in the truck to improve handling.

Aluminum Diff Covers

The Venture is packed with awesome scale details - and real metal diff covers are just one of them! Known as the "pumpkin" by most off-roaders, the differentials on each axle on the Venture feature aluminum covers for an instant custom look. You can also customize the diff covers yourself by polishing them or painting them your favorite color!

Swing-Away Tailgate

With a functional swing-away spare tire mount on the back bumper, the Venture adds a super cool feature that is unique among all stock scaler trucks! Fitted with a real, ready-to-use spare tire (the all-new Rockthorn off-road tire on a black CR-10 wheel!), the spare tire mount also helps hold the back of the body in place.

Front & Rear Bumpers

The Venture features sturdy front and rear bumpers to protect the replica body and the chassis from the inevitable scrapes and incidents that come with off-road trail driving. The front bumper is fitted with tubular brush guards and holes where you can mount LED lights for night driving. Both bumpers feature functional D-ring shackles so you can use ropes and bungees to strap down scale gear or attach winch cables.

Functional Roof Rack

No trail run is complete without a full set of scale overland accessories like a rolled-up tent, sleeping bags and more, and the roof is the perfect place to store that while driving from campsite to campsite. Side and rear rails let you use bungees to hold down your gear for extra scaler points - or use a cargo net for ultimate scale realism!

Rock Rail Sliders

Robust side bars, known as rock sliders or rock rails, allow the Venture to slide over obstacles that are just a bit too tall for it to completely clear. Stretching from the front to rear wheel openings, they serve to aid off-road performance as well as protect the body from scratches by ground obstacles like rocks and boulders. Although they are the perfect fit for the Wayfinder body, they can be adjusted in width to fit other scaler bodies.

Rockthorn Off-Road Tires on CR-10 Wheels

The Venture features Rockthorn tires with thick, self-cleaning tread blocks for driving on hard-packed dirt, gravel, wet or dry rocks, loose dirt, mud and more. The Rockthorn tires have additional sidewall tread to help get the truck over extra-difficult obstacles like slippery rocks and tree roots. The tires are mounted on great-looking CR-10 1.9" beadlock-style multispoke wheels, which themselves feature center hub caps that hide the wheel nuts for maximum scale realism.

The Venture scale crawler truck is packed with features already (you can read all about them below), and the Wayfinder version includes a selection of hand-picked options that will make it even more capable not just on the trail, but also through the most difficult terrain. If you already have a Venture, all of these options are also available separately to enhance and strengthen your truck.

Front Universal Driveshafts

#115942 Front Universal Driveshafts - these are stronger than the standard dogbones, and are also completely rebuildable for when you need to perform routine maintenance. They also increase the steering angle for easier turning around obstacles.

6mm Aluminum Lower Links

#116442 Aluminum Lower Links - machined from 6mm thick aluminum alloy and then anodized to match the shock bodies and motor plate, these burly metal links help stiffen the suspension and allow the dual-stage shocks to do their duties to the utmost.

4-Link Rear Suspension

#117079 4-Link Rear - adding extra articulation to the rear axle gives extra grip at critical moments, such as when side-hilling up steep embankments, giving you the confidence to take the Venture to the extreme limits of scale crawler performance.

Battery placement options

The chassis layout of the Venture Wayfinder can be adjusted with three distinct battery positions, right out of the box! We have included the parts to convert your Wayfinder to run any of these three battery locations.

The Front Battery Tray allows you to put your battery pack right up front. The front battery tray replaces the radio box so you'll want to make sure you are running a waterproof receiver like the RF-41WP!

The standard position for the Ready-to-Run Venture is just behind the central gearbox and as low in the chassis as you can get. With the NiMH battery installed, this position gives a slightly forward weight balance and the best centre of gravity.

The rear position is as close to a 50/50 weight balance as you can get!

All-Metal Transmission

The Venture features strong metal gears throughout its transmission. With a main gear set taken from the ultra-fast and ultra-strong Savage XS Flux, the Venture drivetrain can handle LiPo power up to 3S without any upgrades.

Center Transfer Case

In addition to the motor and transmission at the front, the Venture features a centrally mounted transfer case with a gear ratio of 1.5:1. Whilst putting the maximum amount of weight on the front of the chassis, the central location of the transfer case allows the drivetrain to sit low and down the centerline of the chassis so the driveshafts are perpendicular to the axles for maximum power transfer to the tires.

Low Angle Driveshafts

The low angle and central position of the driveshafts allow for maximum power transfer, so as much power as possible reaches the tires. The driveshafts are composite slider-style shafts with universal joints at each end, where they meet the transfer case and axle. At the axles, 13-tooth pinions and 43-tooth ring gears (axle ratio of 3.31:1) sit inside the "pumpkin" or center of the axles. Each differential is equipped with metal diff lockers for pure 4WD traction at all times.

Adjustable Slipper Clutch

An externally adjustable slipper lets you tackle slick rocks and loose surfaces without having to make big changes to the setup of the Venture. Correct adjustment gives you the perfect amount of power and grip by reducing wheelspin - and the easy to reach adjustment nut lets you make quick adjustments on the trail.

Advanced Truck Steering

The steering system for scale RC trucks is very important - and that's why the Venture was designed with the latest advancements in steering and suspension for strength as well as realism. This makes the Venture a versatile scaler truck on the trail! With a Chassis-Mounted Servo (CMS) and Behind The Axle (BTA) steering, plus a functional Panhard bar, you get perfect scale looks with realistic and ideal performance, no matter what terrain you're hitting. Aluminum mounts for the Panhard bar and aluminum steering plates add strength and durability to give you total confidence on the trail.

Panhard Bar

A Panhard bar on aluminum mounts provides extra scale looks, because it's featured on most off-road trucks and vehicles. The purpose of the Panhard bar is to maintain zero bump steer as the axle rises over bumps and falls into holes and ruts. This helps the Venture go exactly where you want it with precise steering control!

CMS (Chassis-Mounted Servo)

The realistic steering for the Venture begins with a Chassis-Mounted Servo. With a strong SS-30MGWR Metal Geared servo firmly mounted at the front of the chassis, the weight of the servo aids the front weight bias of the Venture. The solid metal steering link also looks like it came out of a real truck, and connects to the tough steering knuckle. The high torque (8kg-cm at 6V) SS-30MGWR servo is water-resistant so you can take it through water, snow and mud without fear of damage, and if you want to upgrade the steering it's easy to drop in an ultra-powerful servo for maximum off-road steering.

Zero Ackermann Steering

For a super-tight turning radius, the Venture features zero Ackermann steering angle. This means you have equal steering angles for the front tires when they are steered all the way to the left or right - the maximum amount of steering for the best performance when tackling rugged off-road terrain.

BTA (Behind The Axle) steering

The Venture features Behind The Axle (BTA) steering linkage out of the box, so you don't have to do any complicated modifications to get maximum performance on the trail. A tough steel rod connects the two metal-reinforced steering knuckles behind the front axle. With all of the steering linkage kept out of the way of potential obstacles such as rocks and roots, the truck has a much better approach angle than with standard crawler kit steering designs.

Rugged Aluminum Parts

Enhancing the look and style of the Venture chassis are aluminum suspension parts that are a fantastic throwback to truck kits from RC's retro golden age. From the axle covers which have the HPI hex logo on them, to the thick shock and rod link mounts, the real metal parts add a great look to the Venture that other scale trucks can't match! Both Panhard bar mounts are also aluminum, as well as all four hex hubs for the wheels. Each hex hub is also held in place on the axles by steel setscrews for additional security.

Multi-Link Suspension

1967 CHEVROLET C10 BODY

The full-size 1967 Chevrolet C10 had the sturdy look of a do-it-all workhorse, and the Axial SCX24 1/24 scale RC rig follows suit. Its detailed scale body comes factory-finished in two new color options. For quick battery access, just remove two clips to tilt back the body.

WORM GEARS

The front and rear differentials house metal worm gears for durability, increased ground clearance, and strong drag brakes.

STEEL C-CHANNEL CHASSIS FRAME RAILS

Just like the 1/10 scale SCX10 platform, the SCX24 chassis features rugged and sturdy steel C-channel frame rails with bracing to keep everything intact and aligned.

FRONT AND REAR SOLID AXLE HOUSINGS

The front and rear axles consist of a two piece, molded composite solid axle design. For optimal handling, the SCX24 suspension features a 3-link front and 4-link rear setup.

4-LINK REAR SUSPENSION

The rear suspension geometry uses a 4-link design which is optimized to reduce axle steer and torque twist.

OIL-FILLED SHOCKS

Oil-filled shocks have been added that allow the suspension to articulate smoothly over rough terrain. You can adjust the preload with 1mm, 2mm, and 4mm spacers to fine-tune your rig for your handling needs.

DURABLE STEEL AXLES

Steel front and rear axles, front stub axles, and dogbones provide the strength and durability needed to keep going during tough climbs and over rough trails.

SPLINED DRIVE SHAFTS

The front and rear drive shafts are splined and sleeved to allow for maximum suspension travel while keeping the power to the wheels.

DYNAMITE BRUSHED MOTOR

The included Dynamite 88T 080-size brushed electric motor provides the right amount of torque for making steep climbs. It's mated to a steel motor mount to keep flex to a minimum and help protect the gears.

SPEKTRUM SLT2 2.4GHz RADIO SYSTEM

The Spektrum SLT2 2-channel radio system offers high-end features such as throttle/steering travel adjust and throttle limiting. The ready-to-run package is so complete, even AA transmitter batteries are included.

FULL BALL BEARINGS

Just because the SCX24 is small doesn't mean its features follow suit. There are no bushings here. The drivetrain spins freely on sealed cartridge bearings throughout the entire vehicle.

The MR307 Hole is a fresh take on the classic hole-wheel design that dominated early off-road racing. BFGoodrich Krawler™ T/A® KX tires have won more rock-crawling championships than all other tires combined. The Axial version captures the same aggressive look in 1/24 scale.

LED LIGHTS INCLUDED

Two bright LED lights are included and are mounted in the front bumper. An extra LED light port on the ESC allows you to add optional LED lights.
