Entering service from the mid 1956 onwards these 10 English Electric 750 HP shunting locomotives were numbered from 800 to 809. They were predominantly found working around Port Adelaide and in particular Gilman Yard. Later and from time to time they could also be found working Passenger trains around the suburbs. They remained in service until the late 80s and some units through until 1991, all except 801 were scrapped. When AN commenced operations the class leader 800 was renumbered to 810.

The DF50 series is a diesel-electric locomotive manufactured to replace steam locomotives on sub-main lines.

It was deployed throughout Japan except Hokkaido and was also used to pull sleeper express trains, but was retired in 1983 due to the increase in the number of DD51 series.

Tomix 7177 N 7177 EF81-300 First Generation Rose Tabata Loco. District

Of the four EF81-300 locomotives that appeared for the Kanmon Tunnel, the first batch of locomotives, No. 301 and No. 302, were transferred to Uchigo Locomotive Depot in 1978 to replace the EF80s used on the Joban Line. Both locomotives were distinctive in that they were painted in the same red No. 13 color as the other EF81s due to visibility issues when used on the Joban Line. After being transferred to Tabata Locomotive Depot in 1982, they were also used to pull passenger trains such as the sleeper express "Yuzuru" and express "Towada" that run on the Joban Line. In 1985-86, they were transferred to Moji Locomotive Depot and were used again on the Kanmon section, but continued to be used in the red No. 13 color until they were scrapped.

At the end of January 1935, a Kychap double blastpipe and chimney was fitted to the W1, which eventually required the fitting of a smoke lifting cowl for better smoke clearance. On August 21, 1935. 10000 was returned to Darlington for the last time in its original form, having covered another 20,823 miles since June 1934. 10000 had proved to be extremely capable, but it was also unreliable, as out of the 1,888 days in service, the locomotive spent 1,105 at Darlington Works alone.

SDS Models HO NR27 Indian Pacific Mk1 NR Class Locomotive

Introduced in 1996 by National Rail Corporation these 120 units were built by A Goninan and Co. The locomotives are 3000kw General Electric powered and used on standard gauge Australia wide.

They were introduced in grey and marigold and several were painted into various business units of NRC. Later they wore GSR train liveries representing the Hook and Pull agreement between the two companies.

In 2002 Pacific National acquired the assets of NRC and commenced to repaint the NR class into their new blue and yellow colours.

The model features the current tooling from Austrains and includes operating headlights, marker and ditch lights and is Kadee equipped. These are an ideal way to add colour to your collection.
