On Track Models HO 8205 Pacific National 82 Class Locomotive
Sample image supplied for illustration purposes only. Actual model will display authentic numbering and will vary.
With the introduction of these locomotives a wide spread reduction of the NSW locomotive fleet had begun. The first casualties were the veteran fleet of 44 class Alco’s, then the 45 and 442 classes along with the Mark I 48 class. Further reductions to the locomotive occurred with the withdrawals of the 422 and 49 classes.
This overall fleet reduction reduced the average age of Freight Rail’s locomotive fleet from over twenty five year old to approximately ten.
These locomotives have travelled all over NSW and have ventured into Queensland and Victoria on intermodal freight services, and in South Australia on the Leigh Creek coal service. They are currently seen on both coal and wheat services all over the state, through Sydney, and the occasional local trip train around the Sydney metropolitan area.
On Track Models is pleased bring you this highly desired locomotive as a highly detailed model in HO Scale.

They were mainly deployed at the Uchigo and Morioka depots, and were used to pull slow trains and freight trains on the Tohoku Main Line and Joban Line, and the ED75 type at Morioka depot was also used as a helper for crossing the difficult Jusanbongi Pass between Hachinohe and Morioka. When they were introduced, they were equipped with defrosters, but the cars at Morioka depot were replaced with heated glass early on and removed. Hornby R30341 Hornby 70th Westwood 0-4-0 25550 1954-2024 Limited Edition Locomotive
In the 1970s, a decade after the three popular 0-4-0 industrial tank locomotives were released and after some company changes, Hornby Railways released another 0-4-0 industrial tank locomotive model with the running number of 25550 and an R number of R455. This locomotive was painted in a scarlet red livery with the legend of '25550' emblazoned on the side of the model. The design for the locomotive appears to have been based on a Class C14 which was intended for suburban passenger traffic around the city of London and was designed by Dugald Drummond for the London & South Western Railway in 1906.
Celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hornby in Margate with a reproduction of the 0-4-0 industrial tank locomotive, 25550, in a scarlet red livery with the running number adorned on the side of the model. This model will be perfect for any Hornby history enthusiasts.

Hornby R30188 OO RailRoad Plus Loadhaul Class 37 Co-Co 37710 Era 8 Locomotive
The British Rail Class 37 is a diesel-electric locomotive. Also known as the English Electric Type 3, the class was ordered as part of the British Rail modernisation plan.
They were numbered in two series, D6600–D6608 and D6700–D6999.The Class 37 became a familiar sight on many parts of the British Rail network, in particular forming the main motive power for InterCity services in East Anglia and within Scotland. All locomotives would be renumbered from 1973 under the TOPS renumbering system, sometimes multiple times as the exact specification for single locomotives could be changed.
They performed well on secondary and inter-regional services for many years. The Class 37s are known to some railway enthusiasts as 'tractors', a nickname due to the agricultural sound of the diesel engine of the locomotive. A total of 309 of the class would be built with 35 preserved and 66 still in service as of 2023.
Starting out life as D6744, the locomotive would be renumbered twice, both times under the TOPS system. Initially 37044 the locomotive would become 37710. The locomotive would serve with BR Railfreight before being transferred to Loadhaul. Stored for many years in a heavy state of disrepair as a parts donor, the locomotive is currently owned by West Coast Railways although it still wears the Loadhaul livery.
This Railroad model fitted with a 3 pole motor and simple gearing, proving to be a reliable runner on any layout. The 8 pin DCC socket allows the model to be used on a digital layout where required and its railroad specification makes it ideal as a starter model.

Phoenix Reproductions HO K184 Preserved K Class Locomotive
The Victorian Railways built 53 K class engines at Newport Workshops over a 24 year period, commencing in 1922. The first series of 10 engines were progressively rebuilt in the 1940s to match the performance and visual appearance of the other class members. Later in 1946 the last 9 engines entered service, these engines had single cab side windows and the last 7 engines were fitted Boxpok style driving wheels.
They were extremely versatile engines and could be found and all classes of trains, many worked until the late 1960s and several into the early 1970s.
The Phoenix Reproductions model represents the class in it's later years of government service as well as several colourful liveries of early days preservation.

Hornby R3995 OO BR Clan Standard 6MT4-6-272004 Clan MacDonald
Based upon the Britannia Class locomotives, the BR Standard Class 6 'Clan Class' was a 4-6-2 Pacific locomotive designed by Robert Riddles to operate mixed traffic with an increased route availability. Changes included a smaller boiler, smaller cylinders and various other weight saving measures.
Due to a shortage of steel only 10 of the class were ever built. The class were not hugely popular due to being less capable in comparison to the visually similar BR standard Class 7 locomotives they were based upon. 72004 'Clan MacDonald' was built at Crewe in 1952 and assigned to the Polmadie Shed in Glasgow until being withdrawn at the end of 1962.
