The Kiha 261-1000 series is a diesel express train that was introduced in 2006.

It was manufactured to replace the Kiha 183 series used on the Tokachi express train, but was later added to the fleet to replace other express trains, and is currently used for intercity transport as Hokkaido's main express train.

Features

• The current appearance with a white base and purple stripe and yellow on the front is reproduced with the remaining 5th series cars having a curtain-style front display

The 733 series is a suburban AC train that was introduced in 2012, and is based on the previously introduced 731 series, with the introduction of new technology and specifications that support barrier-free access. The733-3000 series was introduced in 2014 with the aim of easing congestion during rush hour and improving the comfort of the "Airport" rapid train. The"Airport" rapid train using this series began operating mainly between New Chitose Airport and Sapporo/Otaru in July 2014. One of the intermediate cars, the Saha 733 series, is a reserved seat "u-seat" and has a different colored stripe on the exterior.

The Tokyo Waterfront Area Rapid Transit 70-000 series is a train that was introduced for the Waterfront Fukutoshin Line (now the Rinkai Line) that opened in 1996.

When it was introduced it was a 4-car train, but when the entire line opened it was expanded to 10 cars, including the existing trains.

The 4 trains introduced in 2002 were 10-car trains.

Currently, in addition to running between Shin-Kiba and Osaki on the Rinkai Line, it also runs on the JR Saikyo Line and Kawagoe Line, and can be seen in operation on JR lines as well.

The 313 series is a commuter train for the Nagoya and Shizuoka areas that was introduced in 1999.

The 8000 series, which was introduced in 1999, was a three-car train that was mainly used on the Chuo Line "Central Liner" in the Nagoya area. It has now been transferred to the Shizuoka area and is mainly used on the Tokaido Line.

The Kiha 48 series is characterized by a single driver's cab and a single-opening passenger door.

The Kiha 48 500 series is a vehicle for cold regions, with upper-lower/lower-rising sash windows on the side and DT44 air spring bogies. It was mainly used in the Tohoku region, but many were also deployed in the Chubu region.

The 0 series was the first commercial Shinkansen train to be introduced in 1964.
