The H100 series is a diesel-electric car based on JR East's GV-E400 series, and was introduced to replace the Kiha 40 series. It is currently mainly used on the Hakodate Main Line, Soya Main Line, and Muroran Main Line.

The 209-2100 series is a commuter train that began operation in 2009 to replace the 113 and 211 series that were in operation in the Boso region.

All carriages have been repurposed from carriages that were in operation on other lines, with semi-cross seats in the front cars and toilets in the middle cars.

There are 6-car and 4-car formations, and until March 2021, these were operated as 10-car formations, each coupled together.

The E231-800 series is a special train that was introduced in 2003 to run on the Chuo and Sobu lines and the Tokyo Metro Tozai line. This train is based on the 209-1000 series, but there are many differences from the 209-1000 series, such as a different arrangement of door cocks and the installation of external speakers, and these small differences are what make this train so interesting.

Another major feature is that the line color is not canary yellow, which represents the Chuo and Sobu lines, but cerulean blue, which is the line color of the Tokyo Metro Tozai line, which the train runs on, and indigo blue, which is the line color of the Tokyo Metro Tozai line, to prevent passengers from getting on the wrong train. Currently, the control equipment of this train has been updated and the lights have been replaced with LEDs, and seven trains are in service between Mitaka/Nakano and Nishi-Funabashi/Tsudanuma via the Tokyo Metro Tozai line.

The 201 series is a commuter train of the Japanese National Railways that was introduced in 1979. It was

the first JNR train to adopt armature chopper control, and was introduced as an energy-saving and maintenance-free vehicle.

JR West's 201 series underwent a renewal project called "Constitutional Improvement 30N" from 2003 to 2008 with the aim of extending the life of the vehicle, and both the exterior and interior were significantly changed.

Furthermore, from around 2009, the air conditioner was replaced with a WAU709 type, but the number of these trains gradually decreased due to the introduction of the successor 323 series, and they were finally retired from the Osaka Loop Line and Sakurajima Line in June 2019.

The 117 series is a DC suburban train that began operation in 1979. It was operated in 6-car formations for the new rapid service in the Keihanshin area.

For rapid service, 2 formations were coupled together to form a 12-car formation.

The 12200 series is a limited express train of Kintetsu Railway that was introduced in 1969. Early production cars were equipped with a snack corner, just like the 12000 series, and were affectionately nicknamed "snack cars." The snack corner in the leading car was omitted from additional cars, and at the same time, production of the first middle cars for this series began. At one time it was the largest force in Kintetsu's limited express trains, and after several updates it continued to be in service for a long time, but it was retired from regular service in 2021.

Currently, the KOKI 100 series is mainly used for JR Freight container trains, and it is operated for freight transportation nationwide.

The KOKI 104, 106, and 107 types are manufactured in large numbers and can be seen in many freight trains.

Built from 2017 to 2020, The Class 801 units first entered service on 16 September 2019 with LNER, which were two five-car 801/1 units joined together to form a ten-car train.
