This hairpin corner is a cool addition to your Carrera track on a scale of 1:24, ensuring wild duels that can only be won with the right timing and flair. But there can be no doubt that you are a master of motor sport and will show the other drivers just who will come out ahead on this corner – you know you will be first! The set includes two 3/4 standard straight track sections, two curbs for standard straight track sections and three corner sections to form the hairpin. There are also three outside curbs and three inside curbs with tyre stacks for the 1/60° corner and four end sections. The extension is the ideal addition to your DIGITAL 124, DIGITAL 132 and Carrera EVOLUTION race track.

Crossing with more safety

When involving a bridge, the section of track leads upwards and usually across another section of track. To widen the race track a bit at this point, you have the option of lining the track with curbs. If you want to line your race track with curbs, this not only offers visual benefits. Although the edge pieces are not absolutely necessary for straight sections – including intersections – they should not be missing on the outside or inside of the corners of your race track. In order to create a visually appealing and harmonious image, it makes sense to also create other chicanes, such as crossings, with edge strips. The extension parts come on a scale of 1:24 and the set contains four pieces.

Inside curbs round off your race track

The clear advantage of outside curbs with race tracks on a scale of 1:24 can be quickly appreciated. They are designed to ensure that the large slot cars on a scale of 1:24 do not slip off the track when drifting into corners. However, if a visually appealing picture is also important to you at your race track, you should not do without the inside curbs. They complete the race track optically, but also functionally, because the slot cars otherwise bounce around when driving very slowly over the track edge. A very unpleasant driving sensation. The set contains a total of 12 inside curbs for the 4/15° corner. Two end sections are also included, which are attached to the following straight section. They come on a scale of 1:24 and can therefore be used for race tracks on the same scale.

Hit the corner at high speed

Integrate a steep corner into your race track and bring action to your next race. Compared to "normal" corners, an elevated steep corner has the advantage that you can drive through it at higher speed without flying off the track. So you have to slow down less and can take the momentum for the next section with you. The set contains 12 track parts, each with an angle of 15°. Taken together, this results in a 180° corner, which is also suitable for the 8-lane extension of your Carrera race track. The track scale is 1:24, which means that the Carrera DIGITAL 124, Carrera DIGITAL 132 and Carrera EVOLUTION race tracks can be expanded with this set.

Go on the chase

A lane change in the race track creates completely new possibilities for you. On the digital Carrera race tracks it is possible to change lanes thanks to lane change sections. With a double lane change track both cars can even change lanes at the same time. However, they shouldn’t do this at the same time, otherwise an accident can quickly occur. When used tactically and cleverly, the lane change enables you to drive in the slipstream of your opponent or to force the competition to break. The double lane change track consists of two individual parts and comes on a scale of 1:24. It can be used to upgrade the analogue Carrera EVOLUTION race track.

The seven Scalextric Track Extension Packs are totally flexible in their design and any of these packs can be added to both Standard or Digital Scalextric circuits. In this section the slot cars lean heavily into the corner

Out of the high speed straight and into this steep corner! The advantage of these corners is that you can drive through them at high speed without slipping off the track. The gradient makes the decisive difference here. The track section is held up by the supports included in the set. The steep corner consists of six track parts, each 30°. When assembled, they form a 180° corner, which must be passed through. The scale of the track is 1:24, making it suitable for all race tracks on the same scale. Whether it is on the Carrera DIGITAL 124, Carrera DIGITAL 132 or the Carrera EVOLUTION race track, with this steep turn you bring action into every race.
