If you've ever drifted with a slot car on a scale of 1:24 around a Carrera race track on a scale of 1:24, you'll have noticed quickly: With the relatively large cars, caution is advised when drifting in the corners. They slip off the track very quickly and end up in a ditch. To prevent this, you can extend your race track with outside curbs. The red and white highlighted additions not only look good, they are really very useful. This set contains 12 outside curbs on a scale of 1:24 for the 4/15° corner. There are also two end sections in the set. They round off the curbs with a look of sophistication. The outside curbs are suitable for the race tracks Carrera DIGITAL 124, Carrera DIGITAL 132 and Carrera EVOLUTION.

You now know your old race track like the back of your hand and want something new? Then simply extend your circuit with the help of this extension set. This set features two standard straight sections, two lane change pieces and four 60° corners for new action. Special care must be taken when changing lanes. If two opponents drive through this chicane at the same time, they end up knocking each other out. Track locking mechanisms are also included in this set and ensure that the track sections remain securely connected to each other. The tracks are on a scale of 1:24 and can therefore complement the Carrera DIGITAL 124, Carrera DIGITAL 132 and Carrera EVOLUTION race tracks.

Extending your Scalextric layout has never been easier!

The seven Scalextric Track Extension Packs are totally flexible in their design and any of these packs can be added to both Standard or Digital Scalextric circuits. Each pack can be incorporated into a Scalextric circuit, from simple ovals and figure-of-eight tracks to the largest layouts. One or more Track Extension Packs can be added to the same circuit, or you could use all the Track Extension Packs to make a hugely impressive circuit incorporating all the featured track pieces! The reverse side of the packaging explains how the Track Extension Pack can be incorporated into any number of layouts and also features a 'one size fits all' concept which fits any sized layout.

Please note: The Leap Ramp pieces found in Track Extension Pack 2 and the Ultimate Extension Pack are not suitable for Digital Circuits.

Build a unique race track

Imagine a wonderful Carrera dream scenario: In the pit lane the pit crew waits for your next pit stop. From the press tower and the grandstands the race is watched with maximum focus. The marshals are waiting at the race track for their deployment. In order to complete your layout and match its look to a real race track, you can also add curbs to your race track. The red and white painted curb sections are necessary, especially shortly before or after corners, in order to indicate to the drivers the track conditions. This set contains four curbs that fit exactly to the ¼ straight sections. They come on a scale of 1:24 and can therefore be used on the Carrera DIGITAL 124, Carrera DIGITAL 132 and Carrera EVOLUTION race tracks.

The ideal frame for steep corners

A steep corner is a particularly tricky undertaking for the slot car. Here a driver has to prove their knack for the right speed and the right timing, so that you don't fly off the track due to excessive force. The red and white markings of the inside curbs indicate that this section of the route can be seen from a distance. So you know what to prepare for: As soon as the inside curbs with their eye-catching colours can be seen, you have to step on the accelerator to master the steep corner. The set contains six inside curbs for the 1/30° elements of a steep corner and two matching end sections. The track parts are compatible for race tracks on a scale of 1:24 and therefore perfect for the Carrera DIGITAL 124, Carrera DIGITAL 132 and Carrera EVOLUTION race tracks.
