The Kiha 35 series is a general-purpose diesel car of the Japanese National Railways that was introduced in 1961.

The Kiha 30 series was a car with a driver's cab on both sides, and the 500 series, which was manufactured for cold regions, had a square roof ventilator.

The cars on the Sagami Line changed to cream with blue stripes around 1986.

The Sagami Railway 12000 series is a train that was introduced for direct operation to JR lines via the JR Direct Line that will open in November 2019.

The specifications will be the same as the JR line vehicles that it serves, and it will also be the same as the company's 11000 series.

The front of the train is designed to resemble a lion's mouth, and the exterior is painted in a solid blue color called "YOKOHAMA NAVYBLUE."

The N700S is a Shinkansen train that began operation in 2020 and is currently in service on the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen lines.

An improved version of this model will also be introduced on the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen line, which is scheduled to open in the fall of 2022, and the train will begin operating under the name "Kamome."

The Taki 29300 series is a tank car exclusively for concentrated sulfuric acid, manufactured from 1976, and 62 cars were manufactured by 2004.

Cars owned by Dowa Mining manufactured in the 2000s were characterized by their silver tank bodies.

They were used to transport concentrated sulfuric acid between Kosaka Railway's Kosaka Station and Akita Rinkai Railway's Akita Hokko Station, but transportation ended in March 2008 and all cars were scrapped.

The 72 and 73 series in the Hiroshima area were introduced when the Kure Line was electrified, and toilets were added to all Saha 78 cars and some Kuha 79 cars.

The Kumoha 73 and Kuha 79 series were later transferred to the Kabe Line and operated as four-car sets of two two-car sets during rush hour, but were retired in 1984.

The second operator of the Class 802 was TransPennine Express, their 802/2 5-car units referred to as 'Nova 1's as part of TransPennine's unique branding of the Class 802s built by Hitachi and given also to Great Western Railway and Hull Trains. The reason given behind the moniker, ‘Nova’, was that it evoked the “positive changes and explosion of energy that will truly transform rail travel for customers and so, they are known as our Nova fleet.”

TPE ordered nineteen five car sets of the Class 802 bi-mode multiple units in March 2016, and they were procured through the leasing company Angel Trains. Hitachi’s plant in Japan started working on Nos. 802201 and 802202 in early 2018, with the first bodyshell arriving in the UK in June 2018. The rest of TPE’s fleet were built at Hitachi’s Newton Aycliffe factory in County Durham. Testing of the first unit, No. 802201, began in September 2018 with trial runs from Hitachi’s Doncaster Carr depot. More trial runs took place on the East Coast Main Line to Darlington and then south to London King’s Cross.

With the units on test proving to be running fine, the first 'Nova 1' unit entered service in late 2019 with TPE operating the 802 on services between Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Scarborough, and Edinburgh. ‘Nova’ services on the West Coast Main Line started in December 2021, with four services operating per day between Manchester and Edinburgh (two in both directions).

These new ‘Nova’ units replaced a fleet of three car Siemens Class 185 DMUs and Class 350/4 EMUs. Compared to the old fleet where the Class 185 units contained only 181 seats, the ‘Nova 1’ offers an upgrade to 342 seats with 318 as Standard Class and 24 seats as First Class. There are five toilets on board with one universal access toilet, storage for up to four bicycles, free Wi-Fi, and power sockets for every pair of seats. An electronic seat reservations system is in place with green meaning a seat is free, yellow is a seat that’s partially reserved and red is a seat that has been fully reserved.

Taking inspiration from Japanese bullet train technology, the cab front features a sleek nose front to make the units light and aerodynamic. This aerodynamic shape enables the maximum speed to be up to 140mph in electric mode and 125mph in diesel mode. MTU engines were fitted to reduce harmful emissions to the environment. Trains can run in five or ten car formations for each service, and all are fitted with the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS).

This train pack features intricate detailing on the units such as the TPE ‘Nova 1’ branding with dynamic lines and the sleek nose front of the cab replicating the Japanese bullet train technology for aerodynamics. The models are DCC ready and available with a 21-Pin connection to enable digital control. A powerful 5 pole skew wound motor allows for smoother running around points and for greater traction.

The E231-800 series is a special train that was introduced in 2003 to run on the Chuo and Sobu lines and the Tokyo Metro Tozai line. This train is based on the 209-1000 series, but there are many differences from the 209-1000 series, such as a different arrangement of door cocks and the installation of external speakers, and these small differences are what make this train so interesting.

Another major feature is that the line color is not canary yellow, which represents the Chuo and Sobu lines, but cerulean blue, which is the line color of the Tokyo Metro Tozai line, which the train runs on, and indigo blue, which is the line color of the Tokyo Metro Tozai line, to prevent passengers from getting on the wrong train. Currently, the control equipment of this train has been updated and the lights have been replaced with LEDs, and seven trains are in service between Mitaka/Nakano and Nishi-Funabashi/Tsudanuma via the Tokyo Metro Tozai line.

The Kiha 58 series was a diesel express car for the Japanese National Railways that was introduced in 1961. The Kiha 28 series was a car equipped with one engine, and the 300 series, which was a group that could handle long trains, was equipped with air conditioning units and power supplies for air conditioning, which was 2000 more than the 2300 series.
